Thank you for making this video. I just received my ACE Macro frame. One thing I learned is when removing the rear pin, its designed to come out to the left if you are looking at the rear of the grip. Then reinstall from the left pushing it to the right. Great video and thank you again. Helped me a lot.
Hey man, how long did it take you to recieve the grip once you placed your order? I am debating buying one but it says 1-3 month lead time and I am not waiting that long for anything.
Thanks for watching! Yes it does as one of the commenters said the gas pedals on both sides do affect the holsters. There are solutions for it. Iirc, trex has an option. Not sure for other brands.
swap the mag release to the right side easier to use - hope you didn't damage that little pin as that's what hold the pin from falling out of the grip module, while firing the weapon.
Thanks for watching! I’ll have to experiment with that. Using the mag release is my biggest issue so I’ve trained for it but never by swapping it to the opposite side.

Thank you for watching! They have a few updated grips. Sig also just released the p365 axg. Check those out too!
Hey Man, Good video! Very informative....... Thank you!!!!
Thank you for watching. Glad I could help
Watch big brother gonna get you but really appreciate the info
Thank you for watching! I won’t give them any excuse begin with!
This is not how easy it is, very tight, not precision at all , hell the mag release won’t even work in the icarus position
Thanks for watching! It was pretty simple for me. I broke the gun in and I did this after.
for whatever reason my mag release refuses to come off on my factory grip. Pushing and harder on it will either break it or the alen wrench im using.
Thanks for watching! Interesting, when I pushed it out, i just put the allen key into the hole and I was able to wiggle it out.
I tried prying it off with a blade while pushing the hole with a alen wrench and it came out easy.

Thanks for watching. I got an email for a restock and I ordered right away. I think it took me 3-5 days to get delivered.
If you’re still looking, they have them at Cabela’s. Got mine in 3 days
Purchased 1 yesterday at Bass Pro.
What size barrel is your Xmacro?
Thanks for watching! Its a 3.7 inch barrel
Can u use the same mags?
Thanks for watching! I am able to use the same mags
The grip is amazing .I shoot better then then XMacro grip.
Thanks for watching! I love it too. Way better for my smaller hands.
Does that grip module affect holster fit?
They make holsters to fit the Icarus grip. The module has gas pedals for your thumb to ride on.
I only ask bc I currently have a aqis elite holster for mine. Just wondering if the grip module would affect the fit!
@@nickycabanillas7074I'm not familiar with that holster but if it's kydex & not molded to accommodate those gas pedals it likely won't fit.
