As a Lowestoft boy did 22 years army coped a ton of crap, over the blues but I am smiling now, from the other side of the world down under, can not wait for Saturday
Definitely a "feel good" video. A great manager, a great CEO, fantastic owners, a world superstar fan and then there's little me. My first game was the FA Cup 3rd round tie against Bishop Auckland in January 1955, even though I tell everyone I'm only 35 years old. The result? 2-2. Town lost the replay. A bit like Barrow just before McK was appointed. Now It's Liverpool on Saturday and I was at Anfield to watch Adam Tanner's winning goal. To say "It's in the blood" is an understatement. COYB.
Thanks to each and everyone who has helped us rebuild this club. The new owners, the manager, the team all the back room staff and not to forget Mark Ashton, hes been an inspiration for our club and I couldnt be more proud to be part of Ipswich Town fc 🚜💙
I was born in Leeds, just like my dad. But my grandad got us both into the Suffolk spirit, supporting our beloved my Ipswich. My first season in the prem. I remember going to my first game, a paraglider landing on the stadium delaying kick off at 4 years old. Now I’m 20, a student. renewing my season ticket for the third year, making the long trip to Ipswich every home game. Kieran McKenna has truly brought me great happiness. I wish I was born early enough to remember the days of Sir Bobby, Burley, etc. But Kieran has given me and my family great joy, and no matter the outcome of this season, I will forever remember him and his team as the ones to bring me happiness and belief that my 2nd home will forever be hopeful. Uppa Towennnn💙
Honestly still in Disbelief and so proud to be from Suffolk and proud of my club to the point it makes a grown man cry cause the journey has not been easy. What ever happens this season I'm here for it now and forever.
Well...what can you say. That hit me hard...what a special thing all of those players, the owners, the manager and the coaches have done. Bring on the Premier League....
Ed Sheeran is spot on about the Championship; it's a crazy division and that's partly because most teams are of a similar standard. The PL is very different. It's easy to predict which teams will be in the top 4. I think the promotion from League 1 was very significant because it erased the bad memories of what the club was like under the previous "owner". This Saturday marks the start of a new chapter in the club's history. Let's hope it's a long one.
Great film. I remember being 12 years old and watching Liverpool relegate us. What an amazing couple of years this has been. This is going to be a fun season. Uppa Towen.
Too many people are saying we be back down to the championship at the end of the new season. Yes I don't expect to be winning the title but I really do think far too many people are underestimating the Town. I have faith in the team and Kieran McKenna and his staff that we will stay up and prove everyone wrong. and one of town's biggest strengths is the fact that many teams are going to underestimate us and we will catch them unawares.
I’m an Aussie who moved to Cambridge with my parents for 1 year when I was 12. I wanted to follow a team in the first Division, the closest team to where I was living. It was Ipswich Town. The year, 1973. The rest is history
I wanna play on that pitch later on on my life, I'm 11 right now and I play in the ipswich town foundation, I really wanna be scouted and I don't think I'm good enough, my name is reegan and I have had a season ticket since I was 8
Reegan, who would have thought our team would be good enough to win back to back promotions? But we did! Belief in yourself is the biggest battle. Work hard, listen to your coaches, and practice what you learn. Keep following your dreams, young man, and who knows? ❤⚽
Been an Ipswich fan for 6 years, Thought I was cursed when I was an Ipswich fan when they got relegated to League One and were stuck in there but the Kieran Mckenna era turned my luck on it's head.
Where's my sick bucket!!! And a ginger knob ..trying to sing!!....and man city next at the Etihad!! Ha ha ...welcome to the big league blue noses!! Melanie Canary girl..34..💚💛

The 3 - 2 win against Southampton last season got me going
Wow. What a beautiful thing. That's broken me right up. The journey continues people. The journey continues.
As a Lowestoft boy did 22 years army coped a ton of crap, over the blues but I am smiling now, from the other side of the world down under, can not wait for Saturday

Long and early journey from Merseyside for me Saturday but looking forward to seeing a new ground
From the sounds of it Liverpool and Ipswich are polar opposites as places there’s always something going on here whereas Ipswich is quite 😂
Great vid, now let’s get that szmodics deal over the line!
Your request has been granted and Kalvin Philips thrown in for good measure.
