I’d agree completely with that. My first sprue cutters were actually wire cutters from a Tandy shop and they were a revelation, especially for somebody who started modelling using half a razor blade! Airbrush would be the last thing I would miss. Tried one of the cheap ones recently (just for undercoating) and it failed after 5 1/100 scale tanks (and half a bottle of Vallejo)! If it had worked it was such an expensive faff that I would have chucked it anyway.
I agree with you I have a set of Tamiya cutters, and I would miss them, next would be my sanding sticks, thanks for this review, best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia, Les
Excellent video. These nippers are a fantastic idea! I have been wanting to get a pair of "Knife/Cutting Board" type of nippers for some time. I think you sold me on this one. The Price point is outstanding. And for just a few bucks for 3 replacement blades. I do not think I will ever have to buy another nipper. I found this video on The Mediocre Modelers Club FB Group. Again, Great job on the video. I subbed. Looking forward to checking out your other videos.
These cutters definitely seem like an excellent idea. Definitely worth investing in, next time I need a new pair of cutters. Thanks for the heads up on them.👍👍
Great stuff Mos, I did splash out on a pair of God hands but of course there will come a time when I have to replace them. So this this looks like an ideal alternative.
Looking online sets of three spare blades seem to cost anywhere between £6 (I think that's for three but even if it's each that £18 for three) and £30. Probably depends on shipping cost too. Either way it's still cheaper than buying a whole new pair of sprue cutters.
The only companies that i could find selling the spare blades were in the phillipines & indonesia , but i could not get an english version as tranlate didnt work??!.

*Interesting product, i hope we can find the blades in the futur, it's look cheaper than to buy a new cutter every 2 or 3 years!*
they should be readily available from november
I currently use Valtcan and DSPIA nippers. Very happy with them. I'd also like to get some GodHand nips.
Good choice!
What a good idea! thanks for bringing them to us.
Yes.. shame the blades are out of stock at the moment
