- Jeep + truck… what’s there not to love!? This 1984 Jeep J20 was used as a farm rig for a lot of its life. Since 1998, it has been sitting. Today we will try to get it running and driving. Hopefully soon, we will be able to take it off-roading.

That thing actually runs pretty smooth.
@@davidgriffin6724 not to bad. Needs all the fluids changed and some new tires
Them old 360’s are damn good engine’s worth a good tuneup 👌
Don’t know much about them. I thought it was a mopar 360, guess it’s not
Old jeep!!! Good choice for a quick fun project!!! Keep up the fun content!!!
More fun to come. Glad you enjoyed it!
I had me a 1982 Stepside Honcho edition!! I wished I could find me a other J10!! Good find!!
Those are awesome rigs. You don’t see to many of them around.
It's funny how your dad seems to get so aggravated and annoyed at you at times.
He sure does lol
Hell yea man keep these videos coming lol it’s nice to come home to one of these vids🤙
@@shmitt8307 I appreciate it! We will keep trying our best.

Nice truck. Looking forward to the next “first gen Cummings” video!! 😁
Possibly within the next week or so
Devon-can always count on your for some good laughs! Might want to lube those "butt plugs" before you use them 🙂. and the comment about changing from or to a stick since its 2024-good one. Always good to see Dad and hear him fussing at you about your driving. I bet it was a fun ride when you were 16 and he was first teaching you.
All these old cars have messed up clutches… at least that’s what I’m trying to convince myself lol
Excellent !!!
Appreciate it!
The test drive had me creasing
Quality bonding moment between dad and I lol

@@frasercooley6270thank you!
Love the video! Why is the audio only coming out of my left headphone though?
same, filming/editing error, oh well
Interesting. I didn’t do anything different this time. I wonder if it’s an issue with my mics
@@RealSteelFabrications seems cameras/mics like to do random stuff sometimes, might've switched to mono
@@M.TTT.ya I’m not for sure
Wow, that thing is holier than the pope LOL.
@@davidgriffin6724 lol, most of these trucks are it seems
Dad needs to drive your driving like it's a 700 hp camero or something !!!😅😅
812 hp
I 100% agree with your troublshooting theory. Why get into all that crap unelss it does not run.
@@davidgriffin6724 no need to waste time

Vinegar will clean any gas tank
The 360 in the jeep is amc not mopar great save
@@chrisbyers386 whoops. Did they make all of their motors?
Not to my knowledge when dodge bought amc they inherited the motors the 4.2 inline six is one of the famous one that morph into the 4.0
@@chrisbyers386ohh good info, thanks
I always wanted one of those, but they disappeared 20 years ago around here. I had the predecessor Willys pickup at one time, which also ran off of a boat tank. Had a big step bumper that wrapped around the back, so the fuel line was just run through where the filler neck was to the tank right there on the bumper.
Was it manual swapped, or did someone need to replace the steering column at some point and could only find a replacement from an automatic?
Would love to have a Willys Jeep sometime as well. I’m guess it was manual swapped because it has a trans tunnel that is blue which doesn’t match the rest of the floor pan.
The AMC V8 was not made by Mopar.
I was thinking they were the same. Whoops….
@@RealSteelFabrications the 66 through 91 AMC V8 was their own design. The LA series and Magnum Mopar V8’s are smaller and the distributor is in the back like a sbc.
I dig the truck and hope you guys fix it up.
@@SladeM. ahh dang! I should’ve caught that. Appreciate the info, this is how we learn.
