Same for me, after milking it for a bit, I went on to sort the camp upgrade and stuff, I come back and viola.. The house is cleaned out.. These outlaws nowhere to be found!.. 😢 PS I had multiple saves after I left here.. Not sure what went wrong...
@@nunyabidness323I can confirm it works as of march 2024. Follow rockworth instructions, save right after taking $50 and then reload.
Pro tip: Use bow to kill them so you can upgrade your Health core up to level 8.

You forgot something.. Before you enter front door, you'll see to the left, stairs going down - follow pathway around house to some more stairs going up to balcony (that wraps around house) for some more goodies.

How do we recognize special hat?
@@shamsulsain7012 when you shoot/lasso or tackle down an NPC, their hat falls to the ground and starts to flash. When you pick it up to wear it, the description of the hat pops up on the right side of the screen.

Hanging Dog ranch has $110 in the attic across the barn. HOG TIE ONE O’DRISCOLL ALIVE!!!!! The front door is inaccessible so you have to climb your way to the attic……leave the area until they respawn. Repeat.
If I remember correctly, you can vault through a window to save the climb. If I’m remembering the right spot.

There are other exploits that still work as well, in my opinion this one takes less time to execute and gives you a solid $50 cash without going to a fence. There is a better glitch but you can’t do it until the epilogue. The limpany gold (burnt town) only works if you’re playing on version 1.0 as far as I know.

@@RockworthRDR2 I did this last night for a few hours and managed to sum up over $7K, is that a sufficient amount to start the game comfortably?
Also, I left after I saved the game, right after you collect the money. So if I now continue with normal play, if I ever go back there, will the money still be there? So I can do this again? Thanks.
@@franciscocaballero2604 $7k is MORE than enough to start with lol. On that particular save file you can return and repeat. But once you leave and do other things it stops the glitch. Eventually you’re gonna move on so just keep that save file tucked away if you want. You can now turn on autosave if you please and carry on with your journey. The point is to rack up some quick cash and you’ve done that.
@@RockworthRDR2 Well, then I think I’m set for life, as I kept doing this, while looking for the Andalusian Perlino, which by the way, I still haven’t managed to get. I went back and forth from the homestead, to the horse spawn location, right underneath the R. Unfortunately, still no horse, but nearly £12K in the bag 😨😂
I figured that one out in my very first playthrough by just saving outside the cabin because I was crashing so much at the time Rob them then exit the cabin save game then reload that save, way faster.

Can we loot the outlaws and the house and then save, or we must do exacty as you did? Enter the house, kill the outlaws, collect the money and save?
If you wanna mix it up, whistle for your horse near the front door and wake up the two men. Then you can hone your skills for shooting moving targets.
I use the Lindsey Wofford bounty hunter mission for my practice on moving targets. It's a good one👌

Does this only work just like this? Cuz I found this place early on, didn't do this, saved, and nothing in this house respawns. So I'm curious if it's a version I don't have or for some reason they just don't reload unless you perform this to the t.

How much money do you realistically need in this game? I remember playing a long time ago and doing the gold bar glitch before it got patched, and got like 10K and never had to worry about money ever again.
Good exploit. Wish the Limpany gold glitch still worked that was OP back in the day. But in reality doing all the treasure hunts nets the player around $12,000 which is more than you'll ever need. 3 of the best horses in the game
(Silver Dapple Pinto Missouri Fox Trotter, Dark Bay Turkoman, and Black Arabian) can all be obtained for free through glitching/exploiting. 4 of the best guns in the game ( Bolt Action Rifle, Lancaster Repeater, Schofield Revolver, and Semi-Auto Shotgun) can all be obtained for free. So other than clothes for Arthur and John, ammo, stuff to fill the LOTE satchel a time or two, and paying off bounties (this will cost you more than anything especially doing Bandit Challenges lol) there really isn't much else to spend money on other than just piddly things here and there.

Well the difference is the large jewelry bag trick gives you 150 every time, but for this you gotta wait until the loading screens done and then go back there, takes way more time, although that’s my opinion.
@@Gingersnap_Adventures $150 huh?🤔 Large jewelry bags get you $50 each, the same as the cash in this video. Difference is, you don’t have to go sell to a fence to get the $50. Not to mention the majority of players haven’t gotten the legend of the east satchel, so that’s only 3 bags max at a time, then you gotta travel all the way to a fence to get rid of them. So when you say $150, give accurate clarity. I don’t like my viewers to be misinformed. The glitch you mentioned is legitimate, but it’s ultimately more time consuming UNLESS you have the “LOTE” satchel.
@@RockworthRDR2that’s a fair point but the valuables satchel is not only a easy satchel to get, but it lets you hold 5 large jewelry bags which means you get 250 every time. Also the loading screen for rdr2 takes like 5 minutes. Also you can do it whenever you want without having to constantly save your game and relying on your save to see if you did it correctly.

So I read the comments and, while I'm doing the glitch right now (4/2024), you can actually leave the area and keep the glitch. Just need to be careful. So, when you want to leave, do the normal taking out of the outlaws and getting the money, SAVE ~ THEN LOAD THE GAME ~ *AND THEN LEAVE* . I tried this a while, and after sleeping in the Van Horn Hotel, came back to do the glitch again, and the outlaws are still there, along with the money.

Save before entering the house the first time, then save right after picking up the money, reload and repeat.

Wait so the first time you save before entering, enter, kill the 2 dudes, loot the cash, pause and turn off auto save, save the game and reload, do I need to turn on auto save again and then repeat or you only need to do the auto save step the first initial time?
Just make sure autosave is turned off that one initial time.

FYI, the glitch will break when you setup camp while opening the door to the house. when i came back, the outlaws are gone and there was a Fox inside the house. haha goodthing i saved.

Well…I did include it at 3:33. That’s why it’s good to watch the full video for clarity. The first part was me showing the encounter play out and the other valuables that can be looted from the house.

Yeah I have but they are less completion than current by like 15% exact & i am a new player if i load that old & get the money & load the new/current back will I loose the money too?

There's really nothing to do with all the money once you have bought all the weapons and clothes and horses in the game.
I get a gold bar after every game day, from the burnt out town next to horseshoe overlook, it just respawns.
You gotta be playing on version 1.0

Another great tip, you're the best! BTW, anyone know why I can't keep special hats? If I change my outfit, the hat is gone...Three nice hats gone. I did get to keep the Miner's hat, I don't know what I did different for that one.
Check the wardrobe menu, there's a page for stolen and found hats, save them to custom outfit

There are much easier glitches like the jewelry bag in west Elizabeth and the gold nugget and jewelry pieces in the north mountains by the loft all u have todo is leave the loot box open ride down the road a ways and go back and they respawn super easy don’t have to save and load. Still a cool one I didn’t know

Crazy that people need to do glitches like this, why is everyone so broke? What are you spending all your money on? I'm in chapter 3 and have 10 grand by just playing the game. I did have the legend of the east satchel by the end of chapter 2, so that did help.

No, you just may have already robbed the house on your playthrough. Then sometimes you can accidentally trigger the men to attack you without noticing if you’re fleeing from the law for example and pass by the house, they will come out to attack you

You probably walked in that building before without realizing it. If so they would be gone when you come back. Honestly worth restarting. So much easy money free money right as you start. Like 150$ every five minutesishhh

You had to have missed a step. Disable autosave, save the game after taking the money from the table, reload the save file, then repeat.
@@RockworthRDR2 I did and got the money a few times but after I returned to get it again there was nothing there, the whole house was empty even the lamps were gone.

This is for early game when your barley starting, so it’s actually useful having money so you can already buy everything you want early, that’s the whole point

@RockworthRDR2 why wouldn't you just go thru all the treasure hunts on UA-cam and have about 10k dollars be done with it while you play the game a little. 50 bucks a pop takes for ever. It's hardly a hack at all in the time it takes to re load the game over and over was my point. I see I've flustered you a little lol. And if you're really comparing 500 in that time it damn sure wouldn't cost 300 or 400 bucks for a rifle either.

@@blakenoble9468there actually another house that gives you $110 everytime using this save and load method, takes maybe 2 min total so actually that would be faster then having to grind all those missions, sure it takes a minute but for early game it’s useful then you’ll be free and won’t have to worry about money
