Hey Roblox! Thank you for your kind comments, it's nice to know i'm inspiring people :) I love doing what I do and love it more that people are enjoying them too :) ~ Thanks again Beki
I recall that once signed into the vectric site, I was able to download this file to try sample cutting at home, is it still available or ? Dont seem to find it anywhere anymore
Hi there you can download the files by going to this page: www.vectric.com/vectric-community/free-projects/tips-and-tricks/Makingaleafbowl#dpf hope this helps! Thanks
love you videos!!! How do you create a large/deep bowl and slice it down to individual pieces do to available material thickness to carve it on a cnc machine?
Hello Pascale... thanks for the question. It really all depends on your CNC, tools you are using, material you are cutting, and how much finish work you want to do. In our software you can find out the aproximate running time on you CNC (assuming you set it up correct). You can load the file for the tourtoial into your Vectric software ot Trial version and see for yourself... :)
Hey Rich, Thank you :) You can't do this in VCarve as this is a modeling exercise which requires the modeling tools that you get with Aspire, hope this helps! ~ Beki
On the very first line that you drew, why do you have to go back to the beginning lower left start point and click again? I don't understand what this does. Thanks
Hello Michael... thanks for the comment. Yes I can see where that may be a bit confusing if you have never done it before. What Beki is doing is creating a closed vector shape. If she did not go back and close the shape then she would have had only one single span to work with. Now, to be fair, that would have been OK but would have added a few extra steps to create that closed shape in the end. Once she closed the shape it was like having 2 spans over laying on top of each other. When she converts the top span to a Bezier she can use the control handels to make her top part of the leaf. This exposes the second span that was hidden under it. I hope that clears things up?
Hello and thanks for the question. It should be a very easy process to down load free clipart and the toutorial files. I would suggest if you are having problems to contacrt support@vectric.com they could better help.
Really enthusiastic about the works you are doing... It is truly inspiring... Brilliant!

Hey ! Love it ! How long does it take for the cnc to make this ?

New to this adventure and was wondering, can this technique be used to make this bowl deeper or is it mainly good for shallow bowls?
Hey Lonnie! You can make the bowl's as deep as your material and Z-Height of your CNC allows you :)
I’m carving a smaller version of this right now!
Hello Micheal, thanks for the comment! So glad you will be making one of these! Enjoy.
Very Cool! Would this be do-able in VCave as well?
Hey Rich, Thank you :) You can't do this in VCarve as this is a modeling exercise which requires the modeling tools that you get with Aspire, hope this helps! ~ Beki
@@vectric Is there a different way of doing this in VCarve?
@@austinlopez5805 Not unless you can find a 3D model of leaf and import that as a full 3D model :) I hope this helps!
@@vectric would be nice if you gave us the 3d model so us "vcarve pro" could do it as well.
If I missed it, is this only possible with Aspire?
Hi there, yes this a Aspire only project. Thanks!
Please make links to the companion videos.
