Probably best sounding demo of this pedal. The only thing that's stopping me from pulling a trigger on this are reliability issues reported by users.

Great guitar playing! Nice video... I have the Amped 2, and am very impressed with it. The 2 doesn't have the channel switching that the 3 has, but the 2 has great effects that the 3 doesn't have. I think the 2 used in conjunction with a Midi switch is a viable solution. You didn't mention Midi in your video, but these offer decent control of parameters via Midi. I do wish that Black Star had built in some memory storage for saving & recalling your setups.
You can save presets on amped 3.

@@TimsCabana In architect software or by long pressing one of the channel buttons on the unit itself. Usually reading the manual comes helpful 😉
@@KrisGee I have the 2, not the 3. So yeah, you can store 1 patch per channel? But that's not what I'm talking about. In order to use the architect software you have to connect the unit to the PC. That's not too convenient. I'm wishing that Blackstar would allow the normal 100 memory locations or so on the unit itself... would be cool. I love the product though! It's very cool!
@@TimsCabana It's amped 3 being reviewed and you commented about amped 3. Amped 2 is kinda not relevant on this occasion. And you can preset tones on the unit itself.
Sounds cool, but this gear sounds the same as deadly cool but discontinued TVP series amps - and now for a x3 price... It also should had a fully-functional IR player - but it doesn't so You used to connect any one external to OUT while not playing with cabs. I don't understand advantages except Blackstar Amped is a versatile floorboard amp modeller for mobile setups.
Is this the version for Evh,Vai and Nuno?
Or should I get the 2?
no, this has 3 channels, it has great clean, crunch, and the gain channel will give more gain than the red version 2, unless you need the built in effects of the 2, I would buy this one (I did) because it has a good effects loop too, and I like my own effects better
