Your singing journey has inspired me. I am not a natural effortless singer either. I appreciate that you sing a lot of songs that aren't a great fit for your voice for the benefit of your followers/students. It always enhances the lesson that you include the singing. However it does sometimes come across as a guitarist singing. However you nail this song. It's easy to forget it is a lesson and enjoy it as a performance.
that’s a pretty backhanded compliment Your ideas are well thought out, but you come across as a person who knows what they want to share, but can’t quite get the grasp of the English language, the type of letter were you remember the gaffs` but you forget the content
The Almighty must’ve thought I was ready for your channel, because I’ve been searching up songs for decades. And your tutorials are by for the most thorough and accurate. And your vibe matches mine which means I don’t get tired of listening or watching your vids. Thanks Justin for making this channel. From Detroit MI 😎🤙

I was born and raised in Jimmy Buffet's hometown of Mobile, Alabama, the house I live in now is only a couple of blocks from his childhood home. I've been a Buffet fan all of my life, his music has defined a lot of my lifestyle. He was such a fantastic story teller, listening to his songs could transport you all over the world. He will be greatly missed but I believe that his music will live and be enjoyed for a long, long time. Thanks so much for giving this great lesson Justin, You did Jimmy proud. I'm requesting a lesson on Come Monday, One Particular Harbor, A Pirate Looks at Forty, and Why Don't we Get Drunk, all great songs. Jimmy had too many to request just one.
Great job, Justin - playing, singing, and teaching! I was a little reluctant about this song - and country in general - not that long ago. Now I'm playing lead guitar in a modern country band, including this song. As you may know, there are many modern country songs today that are raucous rockers and feature a lot of hard rock style guitar. Half of our material consists of that style. It's really fun!
Justin…..Thanks for the shout out to Frank and I. Easy to build on Buffet strummers as many of his songs are similar….Next up…..Changes in Latitudes and Son of Sailor…or consider the Jack Johnson travis picked version of Pirate Looks at 40. Looking forward to attending one of next year’s retreats. My tip for the day…..check out Buffet’s side man, Mac MacAnally….one of the best performers and song writers around (he’s written many of Buffet’s songs as well as Kenny Chesney and Zac Brown. Cheers….Marc
My first lesson that I can recall was your video on how to play Sweet Child O' Mine when I was 14. 15 years later (now 30) and I can easily follow along to this jam. Thanks for the videos!

RIP JB! Awesome job Justin would love for you to put this up on the app as I'm starting my guitar journey and would have this as my first song to work on! But loving your course!
"Wonder Why We Ever Go Home" is less well known but a great Jimmy Buffett ballad. The intro is sparse, simple and beautiful with nice arpeggios, hammer-ons and little nuances. With your expertise I think it would make a great lesson.
Thank you very much. I had to learn this song for an audition. Thank you for making the song fun to learn I like your teaching style always reminding us of the cord while you’re singing the melody cool Tony
great lesson Justin - thanks! One of my Jimmy Buffett's favs: Why don't we get drunk and screw .. great song I think to get the feel of that one is difficult though ... Thanks again

Now that he is gone it would be awesome if you could do simple versions of his popular songs. I have a JB songbook and, just like the Beatles, the way he and the Coral Reefers played things is usually more complicated. The Coral Reefer Band is really a very talented group of musicians. Kind of the same as the E Sreet Band.
