@Entartainus well if it was any lower, they would be signed by now since there not they must be asking a lot more. For Terry, it might be years too he's 25, and an 8 year deal will be his biggest paycheck he will ear cause he will be 33 by the end and we know once you in your 30's it's down hill if he makes it to the end of his deal. Zegras will be 30, so he might have 1 more decent contract after, so signing 8 years might be good, but if I were him, I would be asking for 10+ since the salary cap will go up and I will lose out on earning like 15 million or more by the end.
The Ducks usually don't deal out longer contracts for their young stars immediately but rather give them a 2-3 year deal with a lower AAV. I'll guess they are looking to spend no more than 16-18 million between the three of them.

Zegras will have 7-8 mio hopefully a long contract, Terry 1-2 years with 6-7 mio, Drysdale never 5 mio, I expect about 3 mio for 2-3 years.
🖐😁
the oilers, sharks and ducks should do a trade involving gibson, campell and ek.
29.8 million, most likely, zegras and Terry will eat 20 million between the two since they are yet to sign and deal. Drysdale will eat 4-8 million on a 2-3 year deal, so ducks will have anywhere from 5 to 2 million left after to make any deals.
10 million to Zegras and 10 to Terry? Jeeeezzz 😮
There's no way they get 10 mill dude. Not even Nylander can get that and he's actually trying.
@atom-o-tronic3505 they must be too cause they are not signed yet. Ducks have nearly 30 million in cap, and they can't lock up their two top players. So if it was less than that money wise, why is Pat verbeek even hesitating.
Watch max comtois sign somewhere else and be a superstar.
He was misused by Eakins but no chance that happens lol
So the 3rd pick Fantilli is pencilled in as the 2nd line center while the 2nd overall pick is pencilled in as the 17th forward....
I don't know if he was really ranking them quite like that.. but to be fair columbus' center depth is freaking abysmal.. whereas it is likely the ducks greatest strength right now..
if fantilli and Carlsson were switched it would probably be the same situation
I like their chances in 2032 when the kids are all grown up.
They’re gonna be good way before that lmao
1st comment keep up the great content!!
Regardless of who is on the team I have no interest in the Ducks actually any California team
