Ha! That IS my bike! Down to the scratches. I bought it from Vespa Motorsport. Wow, you couldn't ask for a better video on your exact bike!
That is awesome!
Hey Robot, thanks for your films on youtube, due to Robot i got in love with Vespa and the world of Vespa. I'm a mechanic and bought my very first GTS125 ( 2nd hand in a Belgium Vespa store ) with 2200 Km ( 2 years young ). Since a few months i decided to buy me the old "thing" and want to overhaul it completety. Your films will helping me a lot ! Have a Happy New-year 2024 , greetings from Antwerp, Belgium !

Thanks for taking the time to do that!

Excellent video Robot, many thanks for the time and effort you put into this one. I’m sure that many of us will benefit from at least some of the countless tips and instructions you’ve included here. I’ll feel more confident working on my 2008 PX200 now !
@Robot, thank you very much for this tutorial, was able to get my tank out to replace a leaking site glass on my 08 Stella I’m ordering one! Kudos!!
Robot, thanks for these videos on vintage repair/maintenance. These are super helpful and, yes, I just made my first order from your shop for parts. These vids are hugely helpful!
Great to hear! Thanks for the support!
Really, incredibly instructive and helpful video. Thank you!
Don't have one of these, doubt I will ever have one of these, but Robot makes these vids so interesting.
Two stroke smoke is like time travel to me!
Robot! You're the bomb. Thank you for posting this. I purchased TC's red 2005 PX 150 back in 2014. I live in Hawaii up on the North Shore. I'm not a super mechanically inclined person so this is a money video. Anyway, I've been looking for some help on how to maintain and repair the bike so this is super helpful! Glad to know too that I can send parts of the scooter to you guys to repair as well. Thanks again!
Great video!! I have a restored Vespa 150 Super (VBC) with a non oil-injected LML (Stella) engine. Fifteen years ago I removed the carburetor and airbox but replaced the two paper gaskets with Hylomar RTV silicone sealant when reassembling the airbox and carb on the engine. That was 15 years ago. I haven’t touched the carburetor since. Also, I completely removed the clip on the cylinder head air shroud that keeps the fuel line from rubbing against the frame. That clip is a real nuisance.
Thanks! Have been waiting for this video! (And I support your shop buying parts!)
How’s your Stella coming along? I just bought this same 2003 Ice Mint Stella. It’s not running going to start troubleshooting the electrical.
Thank you for this video, I just got an old filthy stella and I plan on using this video to get it right.
THIS GUY IS LIKE A SURGEON!🛵💨💨💨❤
Awesome video Robot! This video is just the ticket for anybody getting a vintage vespa back on the road. Great job, and thank you for putting forth the energy and effort to make the vid!
Fantastic! So precise & full of nifty little details which really help!
Thanks Robot and Vespa Motorsport I enjoy your videos
Great video robot all your videos are great but I feel this one is the best
As always great video, keep up the great work
Well done mate. Best video on here👍
Really good video. Because there are a lot of Vespas in the garage and want to go out. And the carburator thing is the biggest "problem" when the vespa was standing there for over 10 years.
If you have many Vespas then send one of them to me I shall be thankful to yu
This is so incredibly helpful and well-done thank you so much!
Glad it was helpful!
Excellent video. My PX fuel line cracked and could have done with watching this first. Especially when local 'dealer' sold me one three inches to short and spent two hours trying to fit and then measured the old one and realised the 'dealers' mistake. Don't go there anymore. Stick to Daley's in Barnsley.
Great Informative video for a 2Stroke
Stella. . Hopefully you post more Vids of the PX style Scoots . 🍻
I'm commenting here so I can find this video again to order parts for my stella
Just bought one of these, needs a lot of work. Wish i was closer so I could bring it to you guys. Bit off way more than I can chew with this one. 😂
Good luck, hope our videos help out at least a little bit.
You can be sure I will get my parts from you! Stella 150 2T 2004.
Thanks!
This is a super helpful video! Thanks SO much!
Glad it was helpful!
Awesome Video - Thank you!
great video, we need you in Orlando
waaaaw amazing good luck my friends 👍💪
BEST SCOOTER CHANEL AT ALL: NO DOUBT!
Excellent job thank you for posting I'll buy some parts from you.
Excellent. Thank you so much
saludos desde españa! incredible video. I like it a lot!! thanks for making good content, you have another subscriber
Thanks for the sub!
Awesome video. Owned my scooter a day and know more than I likely would have ever known. I live in KC but plan to order parts from you guys as a thank you. Appreciate the help!
Damn robot you are a master
My hero.
I've got a 1983 Vespa PX125 when I bought it, it had a DDR177 Kit.
The issue I had was on long rides 50 miles at 50/55mph it would cut out randomly I'd quickly pull the clutch in and use the ignition button and restart and all would be well at 50mph.
I wanted that extra speed as I also like to Peacock basically have loads of lights mirrors and chrome lol, hard to do when your Scooter cuts out.
Last year I had a Malossi 180cc Kit fitted also a 28mil Malossi Carp I'd already had a Malossi Sports exhaust.
Sadly on my way to Brighton the once, Mod Mecca about 30 miles in at 55 she cut off clutch in ignition restart whilst coasting and all okay at 50mph.
Now I know its not soft seizing as I've recently had this Dyno tested and the fella said he'd got an extra 3 horse power from 11 to 14, and it would cruise at 60mph easy.
Sadly this isn't the case I'm heavily invested financially and all I want to do is ride without these hassles, so would you or anyone know what could be the cause? It has been mentioned that the electrics are overheating and that a better Stator plate would be better and a better wiring loom again more money that I don't have.
So before I get myself into trouble by taking a loan has anyone any ideas.
Best Wishes Alan.
Brilliant thank you
Owned Indian LML NV Vespa for few years back in the early 90es. While it looked like a Vespa from a distance it never really felt like a real thing. Sold it and moved to a Piaggio PX.
These days I ride a GTS. I do muss my 2 stroke PX 'devil', though.
ROBOT YOU ARE THE SHIT!!
I love your videos!!!
Many Thanks for the video, as a newbie Vespa PX125 owner and to Scooters as a whole this is perfect for us beginners, your Carb rebuild is one of the best on UA-cam you've made it an easy to follow rebuild so now no longer scared to have a go. As you can appreciate most Vespa & Lambretta owners will be outside the US and purchasing wouldn't be possible, bit hopefully you can get to the point of making money through your video guides Or Dealership Sponsors and create more videos that are easy and simple for us Newbies. Big Thumbs Up from me.
newby or old - school, they are the best
Thanks from Denmark
Our pleasure!
Start a Patreon, I can’t buy from you living in Barcelona (Europe) because of crazy import costs. The way you teach is great, nice filming too so hands down for cameraguy.
Greatest video ever
Glad you think so 👍
Scooters like this were imported into Britain from India called LML Stella 125 cc 2 stroke engine .Later they were fitted with 125 Or 200cc auto engines but had some issues .I believe the company stopped building them & is now building motorcycles .I believe the owners of the 2stroke models keep them running with Vespa genuine & aftermarket parts .The engines were built with smaller carburettors because fuel economy is more important than top speed in Countries like India. .My brother still owns one a 125 stroker in Blue with a tan coloured seat ,his is very reliable & runs sweet & likes cruising around 50 mph .
Great vid, thank you
Glad you enjoyed it
@@VespaMotorsport do you mind if I ask you a question?
Also, does the spark plug D8EA ok for the Stella 150cc scooter (4Speed)? Thank you for all the info...great!
Robot I have the 2003 Vespa 150 et4 and having extreme difficulty installing plug wire(spark plug ngk7e with screw on plug end) do you have a comment?
If you can make a video about how to fix oil leaking inside in engine and not starting anymore and having so bad day 😞 please will be so thankful to you
Got vespa mk1 t5 seems be leaking 2 stroke oil under carb were mixture screw is
Any advice on getting the best out of a 150 4t?
sir can you help me out of to resrtoration problem with my vespa p125x
Hey do you have a video of the detailed stella? I dont find it
Does anyone know how to fix Stella front wheel alignment?
Just purchased my first "vintage" scooter (2014 Stella 125cc automatic). I'm new to the sport/hobby and am looking for advice on what to address on the machine. It has 300 miles on the odometer, so it's hardly been driven (spent much of its life in storage). Any advice on what likely needs attention? It starts up (via electric start) and I've run it about 100 miles. It occasionally sputters a bit (loses power/acceleration in those moments. Any advice would sincerely be appreciated.
How much ML should be pored oil in gear box?
New to PX/Vespa repair. Got a PX running after a year of storage. Noticed the carb box seal is damaged and there's no grommet in the top. Do these affect running. It idles and revs OK, but dies under load while riding.
Do you have a video on troubleshooting the electric starter ?
Hi i have a vespa lml 150 reed vavle case with a polini 177 cast iron kit on it with a si 24/24 carb on it and not done any porting on it at all the jets are 55-160 Idle jet 160 Air corrector Be3 Atomizer Main jet 120. The exhaust is a Revovler tsr exhaust on it. Just wonder if that was about right cheers.
Hi guys. In the UK where i live these bikes are marketed as LML Starlite. You can pick these up much much cheaper than the equivelant Vespa ie the PX but how do they compare in build quality and reliability? Any advice / comments will be appreciated. Thanks
Do you know if you have any of your machined oil pump left?
few question.. is this stella carb is almost the same as what the vespa 50s have...?
Hi I wanted to inquire I have LML star in india and I wanted to replace the carb to a better one since I have changed the head with a bigger piston please recommend which carb to put and if I can buy this from you ?
Hi
I have a 2007 px125 im restoring for myself.
I cleaned my carburettor and before the clean it ran smooth with no smoke, after cleaning it is smoking I'm a bit baffled aswell regarding the mixture screw and the idle screw as my grandson turned the idle screw. It starts fine and ticks over but smokes.
Do you have the amount of turns both the idle and the mixture screw should be turned out from fully in.
Ps love your kids
Thankyou
Sir, what is your view of using a two stroke for long distances?
Not sure if you mentioned it or not so I will ask you here in the comments.
The fuel line: was it hard as a rock?
Sorry if someone asked this, or if it was answered in the video somewhere, but about how much would this job cost?
How can I order parts, like oil and fuel filters?
💯
Wow 😮
👍👍👍
Nice video keep up the good work. Could i change the lml 4t body engine with a 2stroke engine. What are the possible challenges to consider. Thanks
LML Frames are not 100% exactly the same there may be other differences as well, you may get away with it with a 2t LML frame.
The LML engine is bigger so you've a problem right off the bat, seems like a lot off work and effort for no real reward as it won't make it a Vespa sadly.
Adjust carburator vedio please
Great video! Excellent explained . Where is the link to your eshop?
P.D. Cool your Xolo polo , el perro muerde!
www.scooterwest.com Thank you!
Remove shockobsorber lower bolt it will be free to fix tank
Hello, question, when you turn the keys on....does the lights of the Stella scooter 150cc, goes on or you need to start the engine to have all lights to go on.. ery informative info thks !
need to start the engine, my friend
Where do I start? I can only get my Stella two-stroke to run with the choke always out. It will not idle. I bought a new carb from you and that got me running but I cannot get it to idle or run without having the choke always out. Any advice is appreciated.
Best case: idle mixture screw not turned out enough (in: less fuel, out: more fuel). Or jets dirty/blocked.
Worst case: engine sucks air from somewhere.
Hi Robot! Great video. I removed my idle jet screw when working on my carb. What’s a good starter position? Screw all the way in, back out 1 1/2? I have a 1995 LML Vespa 150
It’s a 2 Stroke
Thta's a good start...then adjust until you get the strongest idle, then adjust the idle speed. Thanks!
@@VespaMotorsport I'll give it a try. Thank you. I like ordering parts from ScooterWest, thumbs up.
So if I got a 177 kit and the px/Stella t5 kit from the scooterwest website, would I have to worry about the oil pump issue your talking about at 6:20?
I have the same question. I got a 177 malossi put on. The shop said to add 2 stroke oil into the gas tank. I wonder if that’s why they told me to do that because of the oil line problem
Am interested to know how much they said to add?
@@TheLovedbyJesus you know those oil cups that you can find for 2t scooters? It’s like a little cup. It’s half the cup for 1 gallon of gas. That’s what my shop said. So maybe 50%=1 gallon
thank you for sharing this video, i went to your site and i didnt find out parts for sale over there, do i have to send you and email for that?
Give us an email or call, we'll do our best to find the parts you need. sales@scooterwest.com 619-280-1718
Hello Robot, would you be able to make a small video about how to fine tune a carburator for a vintage vespa? Ive gt this problem how to fine tune it. i can make it idle just fine, but when i open up the gas the engine attends to choke. Please Help
Have you searched through our other videos? Here’s a few that may help...?

Hi what's the carb size for an lml start please
Should be a 24. www.scooterwest.com/px-stella-t5-24-24g-performance-carb-kit.html
Hey Robot
Would it possible to email you with my make and model in order to purchase the correct parts I’m in need for? I have a 84 pk125 that I’m in need of many parts.
Thank you
email sales@scooterwest.com and we'll do our best to help find your parts!
I wish I knew where to find a two-stroke Stella I'd love to buy one. I live in Central Texas a little town called Brady Texas

Yeah, gas in the gear oil is not good. Need to split the cases and replace the gasket and/or seals. Oil doesn’t evaporate so the gear oil probably got burned up when it passed through into the crank. Definitely going to be a huge bummer to whoever ends up buying this and the engine seizes.
Why don't those have any underseat storage ?
@Curtis Sherwood but my Korean scooter has the gas tank under the seat too and a big storage area above the motor under the seat.
Cool story!
@@chrishough277 it's not a story
looks more like a Vespa than a modern Vespa
howo the fuck do i remove the head column?
Seeing a Vespa with a separate oil filler referred to as 'vintage'...
Wow
Feel old....
😔
1:35:24 just 250ml,no more.
Oils fine. It’s the modern Motul equivalent.
I’ve run classic Non Detergent 30w and the Transoil he used for years and there’s no difference and no problems with either.
Spaco carbeoretar is not good running jitex carbeoretar is smooth and good running pick up is different good jitex carbeoretar running good I like jitex

Are you sure you're a Robot? Not being funny but you're more of an Android from where I'm standing? Genuine question!
I would not consider catering to your audience I would first work on mopeds that I love and if your audience are cool with it fine to come with you for the ride if not don’t let these people homed you into doing something you don’t want. Work on the bikes you want to work on.
