Brighton West Pier: A Journey Through Time (2023 to 1866)

A look back at the history of Brighton's lost West pier from 2023 back to 1866! It was designed by Eugenius Birch and opened in 1866. It was the first pier to be Grade I listed in England but has become increasingly derelict since its closure to the public in 1975. So many piers around the UK caught fire. We are lucky to still have ours at Cromer in Norfolk

Did a tour of this pier just before it fell into the sea. Lots of dead pigeons and the odd painted sign of the funfair. One spooky one with clowns painted on it.
