Just over time you’ll gain a new hearing ability basically, if you focus on listening to how effects change a song usually most sounds fall under a few basic waves. And with the notes some will use spectrum analysis and others can just figure it out by ear. Sometimes a producer will use something rare or whatever but most the time they tend to use the same vsts, you just gotta learn over time what sounds are where
