The copyright system has two basic facets, Visuals and Sound; if both aren’t interrupted during the presentation by an adequate amount of discussion then it’s not good enough to avoid a copyright violation. Some of the channels that do abide rigidly by the requirements still get copyright issues, but they are usually removed by a counter claim. The Japanese copyright system is a law unto itself and doesn’t recognise the copyright statement that is usually added to the video details or as a screen splash before the presentation.

Firstly, love your content, love your attitude!
Quite a few of the larger reactor channels have someone assisting to listen to the music in advance and find a few good stopping places so that the reactor can pause with as minimal an impact on the song flow as possible. But that's really tough for a growing channel. Perhaps you can call on your Patreon community to prepare timelines for you so you can still have an honest blind reaction and not run afoul of the algorithm?
I have a couple of ideas about how to do it with AI, but I don't have the time to build them, and even less of an idea how to monetize them 😁
Roni, you are so 'presenter-professional' that if you halted videos mid-flow to add your incisive comments, then continue the video to its end for additional and final comments, that would surely suffice. And, most 'normal-thinking' subscribers to your channel will undoubtedly agree. If people complain about stopping mid-way through something, well, they can always find the original on Spoti-thingy can't they? Keep going girl, we need 'quality' reaction channels like yours!
It’s a real problem and I understand you. One of the reasons I’m listening to you was precisely that: no cuts. I was wondering why you refused your $$$, but I loved it. Now... you have the right to earn a living. I can tell you what I prefer: one or two longer cuts (which I can speed up if I listen to you more than once) rather than 50 10-second cuts that make listening impossible.
I hear ya. I really hate the idea of pausing... We'll see. I'll give it a try.
One option would be to watch it all the way through yourself and then edit your later comments in between at appropriate moments to break it up.
Some channels also apply filters to the video and/or audio if necessary which is less enjoyable to watch, but often fans are very familiar with the music video already.
Yeah, some sort of overlay showing the bands name over the screen should work.

- A lot of reactors I follow have started using that technique where they ghost something on top of the video, a watermark of sorts to minimize the risk of getting strikes.
But still they have to cut away a lot of the fat too, so to speak.
Especially for movies and/or (TV-)Series, but the distortion of the sound is also quite a popular way to play it safe.
Might be annoying for some, but totally understandable nowadays...

I think that a few brief responses might deal with this issue . You might want to jot brief notes or just words, as you listen, and give a longer reaction at the end.

I wouldn't mind a brief interruption so long as you rewind a few seconds to replay the part that excited you. As an example, your reaction to TW's version of Enter Sandman would have five brief gaps where you say "Nice" "Oh My God" "What the Fuck" "Wow" and "Holy Shit" but only just enough to state your exclamation. 😉 😉 😉 😉 😉

Never use WD40 for squeaks. It’s so thin that it actually washes off the oil that stops squeaks. Try 3 and 1 oil for chairs and hinges

You might be OK if you're not monetizing your videos. But otherwise, I'm here for whatever you want to do.
Here's the thing... The reaction part of the channel (which is most of it), I don't mind at all if I'm not monetizing. After all - these videos I'm watching were created by the artists. And as one, I have so much appreciation for those who worked hard to make them.
So that part I'm not worried about - I'm here for the journey, the fun, the lessons, the guitars (oh God... the guitars!!). What worries me, that even videos that are not monetized (which are most music videos), sometime someone will decide that they don't suffice with a copyright claim, but they'll go and ask for a copyright strike. On UA-cam, 3 strikes and your channel gets deleted...
I want to avoid that!

TBH, I think pausing is just part of it. It has to be done.
1. It's cheap content creation to just watch something without adding commentary and fair use value. And it's better to pause than it is to talk over it.
2. If people want to watch things uninterrupted they should do it at the original content.
One thing that Lolli does that I think is great, is that she as much as possible watches something through, and then edits in commentary. Obviously she pauses for her own outbursts. But a lot of her content goes on Patreon as uninterrupted reactions.
Also, obscure the material you are reacting to. Generally us as the viewers are already familiar with the material and are here to watch YOUR reaction. We don't need a good view of the material.
Edit: FYI, the "back up channel" is no longer a thing. According to TOS when a channel is banned, all associated channels are too. They consider it "ban evasion".

The rules say add to the content, You can pause and give impressions or comment while watching as it adds view point and it also should satisfy the copyright gods.. good luck to you ❤

Eh.... don't worry about it. Just don't ever count it as your only income stream... more bonus money. There's no understanding it. I don't even think UA-cam understands it. Their system seems to be on auto-pilot.

No good askin me 😂 i watch a few reaction channels and it as all seems arbitrary. Some do obscure the video in the brlief that that helps. I dont mind that as i can go and watch the original myself. Some viewers do seem yo gsvf an issue if reactors stop too often. Font know ehy as i watch reaction channels to get thd teactirs perspective. It gives ne a different virwpoint which is ehat im after.
But whatever you do i'm sure it will be ace ❤
