Guys honor band 5 is pro when compared to mi band 4......except for some additional settings.... The heart rate sensor and steps counting sensors, sleep data are far more accurate in honor than MI..... I was using mi for past 4 years but i feel honor band 5 exceeds mi in these fields which are more important than looks, music control etc which are just distraction points in a fitness band....
When u buy fitness band see the accuracy not just additional features

Dude SpO2 feature is great... Ask a doctor or medical student... It will most important and useful for high altitude trekkers...

High altitude trekkers use high quality, accurate and costly smart bands and smart watches. They don't buy 2000 rupee ones

Some of the features of honor band 5 were fixed 5 months later the video was shot. So check that out. You get additional watch faces SpO2 is being fixed music control was added and lot more improvements in app too. So I think if you are planning to buy a band in 2020 go for honor band 5 undoubtedly.

Well, Honor Band 5 has slightly more fitness features than the MI Band 4 and it's also more accurate in showing the data.......But the few things in which MI is better are:
1) Battery
2) Phone call features
3) Music Changes
4) And latest bluetooth
But Honor has better fitness features
It has sleep monitoring in which:
~It measures your heart beat while sleeping
~Breathing while sleeping
~The quality of your sleep
~Your sleeping problems
~The time you take to sleep
While the MI band 4 just measures your heart rate while sleeping
But again, the choice is yours......If you are a fitness freak, Honor is better and if you frequently listen to music, want features other than fitness, then MI band 4 is better
So the conclusion is that both of these bands are better in there own ways......
And of course MI band 4 is slightly cheaper than the Honor Band 5
So if you buy one of these bands, it is for sure that you're not gonna regret and think that you should have bought the other one.

Dude.. you haven't mentioned the amazing aspects of honor band...
1. Honor band alerts you to take steps while you are seated for almost 1 hour
2. Honor band syncs to your Google fit app
3. Wait till honor sends an update on sp02, this will give an upper hand to check blood oxygen which way ahead of the competition.
Additional there were some significant points which was represented incorrectly.
1. It's not irritating to keep the band on hand.
2. It's more accurate with sleep than any app and gives detail analysis on your sleep pattern. Which further syncs to Google fit
3. It doesn't count your steps when you drive. Not even once. I have tested it 2wice.
mi band 4 does the same things too and its really accurate i have mi band 4 and its very good but honor bands home button looks very big and bad . And it does not count steps when you drive and UI is not laggy like hb5. (Sorry for bad english)

To anyone still watching these videos trying to decide which smart band to buy, go for the honor band 5 and here's why
1. heart rate monitor is more accurate than MI band 4
2. Mi band made of poorer quality materials which scratch and break easily while honor band is made up of durable materials
3. SpO2 is now present in honor band 5. Music control is also present in Honor band 5. Mi does not have spO2
4. Watch faces is not available only when you create an Indian account. please search on UA-cam for how to access and download more watch faces. its simple although still limited.
I bought a honor band 5 myself and am quite happy with my decision since this is a device which we don't buy quite often.
Xiaomi has better display and battery, thats more usable than shitty Sp02, i dont even know what is Sp02
@@Pavleone If you dont know what SpO2 is, then how do you know its shitty? The only advantage Mi has over Honor band is the numerous watch faces available to India region.
Look, you can be a fanboy all you want. I've compared with a colleague at my gym and I get a better readout on the Honor Band than the Mi.. Used the ellipticals, the gym cycles, the treadmills, and heart rate monitor during weight lifts and I'm happy with my purchase.
Also.. seeing as Xiaomi lowers the quality of their product too much in exchange for affordability (including really bad warranties), I'd prefer not buying into Xiaomi products at all. Hit my honor band around walls several times and the most ive got is a small scratch at the corner of my watch. So yeah, its pretty good and working real swell.
We can mute calls by pressing exactly on the name in the honor band.

You should really try "Notify & Fitness for Mi Band" from Google Play. It really steps up the game for Mi Band 4 and its integration with Google Fit and other smart fitness accessories.

The strap type and charging technique are alone enough to go for band 5. The Spo2 measurement is a bonus. The accuracy of band 5 is better than Mi. The only downside i see in honor band 5 is the Bluetooth version of 4.2 instead of 5.0

i have read the reviews on youtube and people are saying that Honor band 5 is more accurate. Besides that the most shocking one was for me is that the Mi band 4 fell off while running. Lots of people complaining and I'm confused now.
2 generations, MI has passed and they fixed more. However go with Honor band 5...
There is no such thing as spO2 sensor. The algorithms compute spO2 levels using the PPG signal obtained from the IR and RED light sensors.
Miband 4 with the functionality and more discreet look. The media player is the reason why i buy it plus having a Big silver circle on the band look tacky and toyish to me(honour band 5).

The SpO₂ option was available as soon as I bought it(Feb 2020)

The Honor 5 is nicer to navigate the menu's due to the larger glass area. I found the glass of the Mi Band 4 a little more fiddly due to a smaller area of glass.

Well i dont agree with you atleast this time cuz i have both honor band 5 and mi band 4 (global)..and for me honor band is clear winner as its fitness tracking is more accurate and i also contacted honor support and they said they are facing issues in updating and spo2 will be out in coming month with watch faces..and to add more by tapping the home button we can silence calls..xD..

i don’t know about Honor band 5 but HB 4 has the option to mute an incoming call. just tap the name who is calling, it will mute the call that means no ring tone or vibration until the call ends.
