- Let’s take a look at the GI Joe Cobra Commander by Hiya Toys. These are figures that Hiya can not distribute in the U.S. so they are a little expensive. I’ll compare it to the last 4inch CoCo from Hasbro and look at the articulation and paint.

I don't have any interest in modern 4 inch figures, but that doesn't mean I hate them. That may be why I don't think these are worth the price. They are cool, but to me they're not $45 dollars worth of cool. I do wonder about this figure's helmet. I've seen pictures of it off of the figure, and it is vac-metalized, so I wonder how the blue paint will hold up over time. With it painted of the chrome, it wouldn't surprise me if it didn't start to flake off. Of course, I may be completely wrong about that. Hiya may have some up with a process that is durable. I have heard rumors that Hasbro is going to allow importation of these next year. I don't know if that's true or not.
Had mine for about a month, I like him.

Wish you had the 30th anniversary cobra commander. He’s be best 4” version of him.
4" or 3.75"? The Hiya are definitely a bit bigger than any Hasbro 3.75" I own. I paid 50 flat, for my 2, shipping included.
$45 ouch. I got mine for $26.
That’s cause I got it in a shop, so no shipping. But he’s basically having to order them the same way we would, so the up cost was gonna be a little

Cobra Fett. Head seems small. Like its molded as his head and not a head in a helmet
It does look too small. I can't decide if it is, or if it's just an illusion caused by the chrome face plate and mandible helmet. The head on the other 4 inch CC he compared it to looked better size wise.
$45 is nutso for a dinky figure like this. I don't care WHY it costs that much, their licensing or overhead or import costs or they're a small company, etc. Whatever, it's just TOO much. Also, THE RENT IS TOO DAMN HIGH.
