I litterly swoon over every video I watch of Coco's apartment. Just perfect then and still relivant in this age if you like her style. I would pay a good sum if I could have a tour of her apartment and the Windsor house museum in Paris. The Windsor estate has even preserved the couples garments in the orginal drawers. Just divine. Thank you for the great video!!
I’m no expert but I wouldn’t call her apartment understated! The large animal statues and Chinese screens are a bit much. If this made her happy-great. But it’s not understated or minimalistic.
@debbief :: I agree ; although the full-use of space was very interesting. It's like going to a museum ... so much to see ... so little time. The narrator must have been reading from a script w/o actually seeing the place [?] (I'm not necessarily a fan of Woody Allen, but his _Interiors_ is a masterpiece of simplicity. Check it out if you haven't seen it.)
@@deborahcurtis1385 :: Some of this AI stuff is so good ... I don't realize it until after it becomes exposed. You must have a good eye. I'm going back to watch it.
IKR? There's literally shit everywhere, on every surface, every wall, every table like, tons of it. WTF are you talking about 'simple'. 😮 simply junky as hell 😳
EXQUISITE. PERFECT. Every room, every detail is entirely PARFAIT. You see interiors of so many homes today, and think, "I like that, but i don't like this. Not Coco's apartment. I saw one floor lamp that I would change, and a bucket of wheat sheaves that I would change for peacock tail feathers. Not too big on the frog, but I love the lions and the chinoiserie screens. PEFECT!!!!
I would love to see her apartment in the flesh. I was in Paris this past June and visited the Chanel store at #31, but at that time I did not know about the staircase. Can you book an appointment to see her beautiful home?
I enjoyed seeing Coco’s apartment and wish there had been more to see. I can’t believe you said her perfume was called ‘Chanel NO Five’ - it’s always been called ‘Chanel NUMBER Five’! Hadn’t you heard of it?

It’s all well and good to acquire “stuff” cheap or expensive……as long as you have someone to dust! My goodness, I can’t imagine maintaining that residence. It’s a bit much, and I love detail, layers of different things. Her style was simple, classic, elegant in fashion, impeccable taste, but her taste in decorating is a bit eccentric, but then again, who is going to critique Coco. I’m sure everyone she knew drooled over her apartment.

Yeah, it's gaudy.
@@MadamoftheCatHouse IRL you'd probably call it luxurious.
Gaudy means brightly coloured cheap looking. I think it's neither.
I wonder if there was a kitchen and bathroom? I’d love to see those rooms🇦🇺🦘🐨
Beautiful!!
Happy New Year! 2024
I would not describe her apartment to be simple, I did not see any simplicity in these pictures.
This is because your simplicity is complicated.

That is what I said, what’s your pointless?
My same thought! Her apartment is anything but simple.
What beautiful English speech. Finally I understood everything that was said.
Yes I would love to visit her apartment. I don't hate it. sure I would to have something like that.
Great beautiful I’m thrilled ❤
Thank you so much !! Enjoy!

I am wondering if there are pictures of the home being restored by Dan in Escape to Rural France?

I suspect this was narrated by a very good AI voice. Maybe.
@@2degucitas Yes definitely AI-generated. Which is sad. This is taking over UA-cam.

Yes yes yes🌹
Luscious! But her books were bought for color coordination, not to read. Decorator ‘s literature. 😉
I would love to see inside this apartment with someone who knows what it is all about. Any ideas ? Swan
"Chanel 'NO' 5 perfume..." these computer generated voice overs are dreadful ! 😂

The commentary is hilarious. And the faux accent and pronunciation of some words! lol
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Her apartment was designed by not only her and kinda sick of seeing yet another home filled with books that no one ever reads !
Before anybody comes for me you better have more than I’m being mean!
I like her designs but I'd hate to live in that cluttered apartment. There's nowhere to rest your eyes.
Did I hear the word minimal???? I don't think so
And yet she prefered the Ritz...
No 5, yes 5, you mean number 5😂
Икона.в.модата.
UNDERSTATED?😂😂😂
Beautiful but a little too much.I decorated my living room in black and white😂
Ποιος κληρονόμησε το σπίτι;;;;;
Good question
there was nothing simplistic about her home more like way over the top if u ask me
Being interested in spiritual symbols hardly constitutes superstition. Your comment is insulting.
So Chanel was a pagan. She lost the live of her life. Hmmm. She had a beautiful style thou.
Monstrosity for a monster.
Despicable woman.she never slept there but chose the Ritz
Loathe the Asian influence. Too, too much.
Democrats hate this elegance that the Republicans desire.
Ironic…
Of course. She was a Nazi.
Are you stupid or something? What has the democrats or republicans have to do with this?
What an absolute ridiculous statement 😒
