That usually has a significant effect on draining the battery. I still have yet to drain my Touring battery like this. I always get tired before the battery runs out 😂
My field awakening was set to zero I never really use it only when racing Also, the fact that it was cold at the night time and I was running on 60% that could be the reason why I started losing range as batteries don’t like cold weather

Hey jay just wondering how the range compares to the 60v battery, tossing up between the 72v or the 60v because I’ve heard the 60v has more range and that’s what I want the most out of an upgraded battery.
Of course well the range for the 60 V 60ah from chi battery I was able to get 55 miles, but this was running stock power on sport mode which I believe is 5000 kW On the 72 V 51ah from Chi battery I got 55miles but running 8.5kw so look to get around 50-60 miles from Both battery 72 v is slightly taller and heavier but the power deliverance is more snappy

@@jaystyles33 thats the max speed at 51mph. Range is i would say around 80-100 miles. Did 54 miles and still got 49% left on battery

Same thing happened to me when I did my range test video for that battery, I got 50mi even at 15kw.
Damn 15kw def going to check out your channel too
In the cold too brrrrr bet it would go even farther in the spring.
You know what that actually has some truth to it ! Probably pull out maybe few miles of range
A few?! I see about 25-35% loss in cold weather vs warm weather.
Not to mention you would get more miles in an area that doesn’t require as much deceleration as NYC

Is the battery percentage accurate on the eggrider or are you going off the current battery voltage in respects to the low voltage cut off?
I don’t have an egg rider but I was going off the current battery voltage reading from the smart bms app and the low voltage cut off was at 60v

If you know your batteries well 50% doesn’t mean 50% it’s more like 38% you don’t get the same range from the last 50%
