Twilight Together in Aston Park 2009

The West End/Clingman Avenue, South French Broad & Wind in the Oaks neighbors, the City of Asheville Park, Recreation & Cultural Arts Department & the Asheville Police Department came together to make a fun event in Aston Park to Celebrate Safe Communities. Chili cheese dogs (veggie & meat versions) were enjoyed by all with handmade desserts from the east side of the neighborhood and sweet tea from the west. As twilight descended, out came the sparklers & glow bracelets accompanied by the drumming of Wayne Purcell.
