I didnt understand why they kept Bellingham on, especially after his assist for Palmer. He was jogging, walking, stretching, holding his knees. England were calling for that cross -field ball, Shaw was always open, especially when the ball ends up at Walker after a pass from Saka. It was calling for TAA
of all players that stay too long on the field, you pick Bellingham? dude, he's the best player on the match that day. he also provided last minute assist attempt to watkins (that he blew up). And gave a good defensive display. I hate to bring stats or rating, but look at different rating websites (whoscored, sofascore, etc), and see who's the best rated player.
@@eganburg I seriously question your understanding of the game if you think an atrocious player like Bellingham was the best player of the match. He wasn't even England's best player let alone the best player of the match. All he did was selfishly hog the ball trying to dribble past the opposition like he's Messi because he has no footballing intelligence.
Yo Adrian, I would LOVE a deep dive video into De La Fuente’s coaching career. His rise through lower division teams, national youth sides and eventually landing the national team job. He was such an unknown to me when he got the job. And now he’s won the Euros! It really feels very similar to what England did with Southgate (I think he coached their u21s for 3 years before landing the England job), but it’s just worked wonders for this Spanish side
As long as De La Fuente kept this tactic, Spain might end up just like Del Bosque's era, up until something (like Netherlands' 5-1 win in 2014) ended the dynasty.
Lets be completely frank here. England has been gifted a rose petal strewn runway to the last two Euro finals and 2018WC semifinals. They had no serious opposition in their bracket, ZERO!!! They are ridiculously overrated by an Englishcentic media. Their league is imho, the best league in the world, but it largely benifits from importing talent from abroad, coaching included. The players if I’m honest are good, but certainly not brilliant, with a few exception like Bellingham( who lets be honest, was shit outside of the brilliant goal) Alexander-Arnold( who was invisible for large parts) Foden( completely underwhelming) They are not as talented as the media would have you believe.
So unoriginal and so deluded. Do you believe that Hojbjerg is a better player than Rice? We can objectively compare their statistics as they play in the same position in the same league. Rice is better. Yet when they play against each other in an international Hojbjerg is far superior. The player of the year in PL was Foden. Cole Palmer the young player. The top scorer in the Bundesliga is Kane. Bellingham is one of the best players in Spain. England have at least 6 champions league winners. Other countries have league 1 or championship level players. Do you see how deluded you are yet? As for coaches. I think it's a major problem that British coaches don't get opportunities at big clubs. Managers like Howe and Dyche have unbelievable lower league achievements. If a German coach brings a team up a few leagues quickly he's hailed as a genius. An English coach does it, well he doesn't have experience in European competition. You can only get that experience one of two ways. Manage abroad or get a job at a big club in England. Received wisdom is weak. Unless you're just trolling in which case get a bit more creative with it please. Put in a bit of effort.
England has a few brilliant individual players but as a squad they are way too overrated. Their striker wasnt in form and their defence and keeper arent the best. Plus the worst coach in the tournament.
@@junaid_2107The keeper and defense were good. They had one of the best defenses in the tournament. They wouldn't have made the final without their defense.
The young wingers unlocked our evolution. They do exactly what is needed to stop being so horizontal as we were in the last tournaments. Great job from De la Fuente, he got the best out of so many players (Carvajal, Laporte, Cucurella, Rodri, Fabian, Olmo, Lamine, Nico...). He puts Southgate to shame in that regard.
They definitely deserved it they played so good. Im from Germany and everybody is still mad about the Hand play. But thats the fault of the ref. I feel like Germany could have beaten Spain tbh. We will come back next World Championship, finally we have a good coach and a good team again 🇩🇪
I'm happy they won and I had my money on them even before the tournament. It's just a bit sour that the quarter final against GER had to be that early and played out the way it did.
Please don't put Foden in the same bracket as Saka for being hard done by. The whole team was reshuffled around just to get Foden into his "best position" and he still did nothing across those 3 matches. He's had a dreadful tournament from day 1, but the insistence of commentators and pundits, and ultimately Southgate, that "he has it in him" and that "the team should be built around him" meant his continued selection. Palmer did more in the handful of minutes he got off the bench, than Foden could do in the entire matches he played. And this is all coming from someone who wanted England to lose - it still pains me how people hype up mediocrity when the reality is staring them right in the face. On a side note, its been a joy watching your daily videos! It became part of my morning routine, watching your videos while having breakfast.
You think Foden's performance was without reason?? It's because they put him as an assistant to Kane LOL tho Foden is a way bigger star than Kane. Both Foden and Bellingham have bigger star status than Kane. It's the exact same thing that happens in the corporate world too!!
As much as I wanted it to come home...Spain was the objectively better team, England felt like they slipped through. Felt kind of like this year's NBA Finals, where the clearly better team took care of business relatively easily
The vast majority of english fans and comments are happy with the result the better team won,we were happy to be in the final andmany supposed better teams were sat at home after bottling it,you've got to be in it to win it spain are a great team deserving champions.🇪🇸⚽🏴👍
Will you cover a review of the Copa America before the start of the new season? the group stages, surprises, disappointments, lack of security and expected outcomes versus actual outcomes?
People keep talking about Rodri. And yes Rodri is and has been fantastic. But can we talk about Carvajal this tournament? No, this SEASON?? So underrated. What a player!
England needs a manager that's brave enough to put together the best TEAM, and not their best PLAYERS. Gordon should have played more minutes, Watkings should have always played ahead of Bellingham, Foden and Saka.. while Kane should have played alongside wingers like Gordorn and Bowen.. or ahead of aggressieve number 10's like Eze and Palmer. England needed to priorities the team over their superstar players balance out their attack. Southgate just wasn't brave enough.
I actualy dont think england was that bad in first half. They were cautious but they had their moments, and spain was having a lot of trouble connecting play specialy because rodri was under a lot of pressure from england, which southgate surely had a hand in. And it was working. But then rodri goes out injured, and spain comes to the 2nd half ready to destroy.
I'm happy Spain won. Thought england might pull something out of a hat, especially given that they lost the last final. Losing 2 finals in a row is insane but the best team won, and I'm at peace
Spain were the best team in the tournament and deserved to win. It's sad we had to watch Foden stink it up every single game and not see Palmer get a single start. This tournament showed this needs to be Southgate's last tournament. He's way too passive as a manager and for the talent that England have, they should be playing on the front foot more
Bellingham was a lot like ronaldo this tournament (no hate to cr7) constantly nagging and whining for set pieces and penalties but doing little on the pitch

@@mattholmes3707Are they really all that though? On paper maybe behind Spain,Argenrina and France. Toss up between them, portugal Brazil and Germany for 3rd. Germany i think will improve and portugal.can shine with a better manager and also when the diva stops overstaying his welcome to stat pad.
Anyway, england hopefully will run out of luck with the easy draws and crash out earlier when they meet the first quality side as per usual.
England in the early 2000s had Owen, Beckham, Ferdinand, Scholes, Lampard etc. Going into every tournament, the English media always say, "we have the players", " we have a great squad on paper". It's time to face the reality that perhaps the English definition of "best squad" or "good players" is perhaps not accurate.
Eh, I think England will probably be fine, not gonna lie. Besides most of your good players are young too.
The fact that we overlooked poor's Morata & Unai Simon performances makes this team even better... Might be harsh but these two give no sense of security at all..... It was a nice tourney overall. Enjoy your vacation :)
I wish Oyarzabal got more props
Hands down best channel covering the euros
Thank you for everything
Morata super underrated with a crazy ass trophy cabinet I rather have a winner like him then a crap one like kane and win nothing 🤷🏻♂️
look, Morata is underrated but if Kane got his career moves, he'd definitely have the same cabinet too.
@@maciejbala477 kane won nothing with this Bayern team that had won 11 cups in a row against a team that got dismantled by a crap Atalanta team premier league have weak defences because whenever he plays against a good defence he is a pile of shit whereas morata has scored against big teams and helped his team win things even in that Chelsea team he got a fa cup. And he's scored in finals for juve. He is technically a way better footballer kane is a good striker with that English overrated dust on him. They are of a similar age and morata looked like he was 20 years younger then kane
I have seen morata single handedly rip teams apart score a goal or assist or make the play last euros against Italy who where on fire or when he ripped the treble winning Bayern team with juve I have never seen kane do something close to that level whats the point if you score goals against crap opponents and yet never win anything spurs bottled the league to Leicester and that's just facts and Liverpool in the UCL and kane disappears in finals
@@daaljones9584your braindead understanding of football is blatant by your diminishing both Bayer Leverkusen and Atalanta. Please starting following cricket. Not because I have anything against cricket, it's just so someone else will have to bear yout stupid opinions in some other sport at your choice as football is apparently not your thing.
Let’s not forget congratulating “Own Goal“ for having a great tournament and easily scoring the most goals.
Did you notice that Bellingham always has broken socks? I wonder why.
Enjoy your break my guy, well deserved to put it lightly 🙏🏾❤️
Great coverage, Adrian. Your break is well-deserved, but we'll probably be left wanting a Copa America video from you... Oh well.
No coming home for England again! Spain did deserve to win EURO 🏆! I hope Spain does well in World Cup 2026!
As long as De La Fuente kept this tactic, Spain might end up just like Del Bosque's era, up until something (like Netherlands' 5-1 win in 2014) ended the dynasty.
Thanks for everything Adrian, have a good and deserved break
Adrian, thank you for the amazing coverage of the tournament. No one does it better! Enjoy your vacation!🏆💯
Tq adrian..with you..i won't miss any euro updates.. 🎉
I wouldn't be that bothered about it. Why can't you give props to the winners? Some top players and a great unit.
England has a few brilliant individual players but as a squad they are way too overrated. Their striker wasnt in form and their defence and keeper arent the best. Plus the worst coach in the tournament.
@@junaid_2107 Who are the overrated squad players you're talking about? Name names.
Good To See Spain Smiling Again After A Few Difficult Tournaments (2016-2022) And The Backroom Mess Eg Kiss gate And How They Handled It
Great video again.
They definitely deserved it they played so good. Im from Germany and everybody is still mad about the Hand play. But thats the fault of the ref. I feel like Germany could have beaten Spain tbh. We will come back next World Championship, finally we have a good coach and a good team again 🇩🇪
Morata did exactly what giroud did for France in 2018 but only real football fans will appreciate what they did
I'm happy they won and I had my money on them even before the tournament.
Foden is useless when he can't pick Pep's brain.
I love it when the best team wins! 😊
Congrats Spain!!
The Spanish manager needs to be spoken about more. I hope you make a video on him eventually Adrian. Thanks for the hard work
One of the things Luis de la Fuente would say during the tournament when asked for the rival stars was that he had the best players in his team
Football won today.
When 4 of the best players in the Prem last season are on the bench, what can you expect.
Spain will dominate the football like they did in past decade

The last one might be the funniest one. Plus, he doesn't really like his country on winning the Euro 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Will you cover a review of the Copa America before the start of the new season? the group stages, surprises, disappointments, lack of security and expected outcomes versus actual outcomes?
❤🎉Happy holidays bro ⚽️
Spain was the best team in the tournament by a wide margin. They earned the trophy.
Kane did what he did for Tottenham in their CL final. He put himself above the team
Portugal and Ronaldo could learn a thing or two from this Spain team. Would have loved to see them play the same way.
Southgate only used 3 subs. HE ONLY USED 3 SUBS WHEN HE HAD GUYS LIKE BOWEN, GORDON, EZE, TRENT AND GALLAGHER ON THE BENCH🤣🤣🤣
After 50 years, this generation of english supporters.."Its coming home"...
The best team of the tournament definitely won
? germany didnt won tho
@@timf2241Spain is the best team in the tournament, they won 7/7
Enjoy the break homie!
Which competition was better Afcon Copa or Euros just on an Entertainment bases
England being brave? That's not in their DNA.
Finally rodri getting his flowers and hopefully a Ballon'Dor as well
I actualy dont think england was that bad in first half. They were cautious but they had their moments, and spain was having a lot of trouble connecting play specialy because rodri was under a lot of pressure from england, which southgate surely had a hand in. And it was working. But then rodri goes out injured, and spain comes to the 2nd half ready to destroy.
Foden was shadowing Rodri. Making it difficult for Rodri to get the ball, but also manking it difficult for Foden to get into the game.

Ronaldo was good in the group stage but got worried that he wouldn't get his goal in the knockouts, which is where everything went off the rails.
