This was super helpful- we were there 12? Years ago but taking the kids back this time (from east coast) so it was nice to see the changes since we were last there.
Omg this was fantastic info! Thank you for all the little tips like stopping at the duty-free shop, tipping, bringing an outlet adapter, etc. We are from the states as well and will be spending our honeymoon at the St. Regis and Le Taha’a in November 2021. Just like you, I too had anticipated it would be like the Caribbean where they cater to Americans and typically speak English & accept US dollars. We’ve been watching tons of videos on the Resort stays in French Polynesia but no one has taken the time to mention these little crucial details. I actually speak a little French but I will definitely need to brush up if that’s what is largely spoken there. Excellent video!
EXCELLENT VIDEO 📹 👏 very detailed, honest, informative, fast and to the point. 100% RESPECT!!!!! You Are obviously a very honorable highly educated person. Wishing you, and your BEAUTIFUL WIFE- (I saw her reflection in the mirror tour.) MANY HAPPY, AND HEALTHY YEARS TOGETHER ❤ 💖 💓 💛 💗 💕 ❤ SHALOM.
Interesting. Very concise review, and well thought out. Preparing to send my sister and her fiance on a rocket to Tahiti and a lot of these facts are good to know as I am the designated researcher/buyer....
Hello! Maybe I missed it, but do you remember what an average dinner cost per person? What both alcoholic drinks cost/I know you mentioned the duty free were you allowed to bring your own liquor? Is Wi-Fi complimentary? Is the water taxi free to use and easily accessible to go to town? Thank you so much! Your video is so helpful as we’re trying to plan our honeymoon
I would say $80pp per night for food at the least is fair for dinners. Beers are 12+ and cocktails $25ish. Wifi was included though as part of the resort fees. There is a water taxi that goes daily that is included going to the mainland as well but has a limited schedule. We paid roughly $65 to go next door via water taxi to the Four seasons also,
Great video. Few questions if you don’t mind. My wife and I were thinking of going in May. What month did you visit Bora Bora? What type of power converter thing did you buy? About how many US dollars would you recommend converting to Francs without over or under doing it? And any information regarding Covid testing before the trip would be helpful. We were thinking of testing at LAX airport before leaving. Also, did you fill out something called ETIS online? Thanks again for any trouble.

Good info! Looking at this now. Do you recall pricing for the villa? Did they work with you on pricing?
