I really like adding Antarctica and Northern sea colonies. They're easy to play with the base game too: just leave the blank commander cards within the command decks and whoever draws one may place either location, or flip over an existing location.
I agree with your assessment that playing on the moon is a bit of a chore: energy is pretty sparse and hard to spend, and depending on how battles are going a lot of players won't be willing to invest the 3 to get a commander to send up an army from their space station: especially if their station isn't already a bastion with a fortifying army.

Thanks for uploading. I enjoyed watching. I played the unmodified 2210 about 15 years or so ago, and our group at the time had a lot of fun with it, but then the guy who owned the game moved to another town. I also played the original 1959 Risk quite often as a teenager back in the 1970s. Of course in those days dice games were cool, randomness added some surprise and fun, and euros were unheard of. I thought that 2210 was a great upgrade, although I don't think I fully appreciated how great at the time. Like you say, it's a brilliant game for continual add-ons and experimentation, especially if you like sci-fi themes. Anyway, I'm starting to ramble a bit now so I'll leave it at that. Thanks again for taking the time to upload, and please take care and stay safe.

I like your modifications. I dont like the north pole and antarctica as much tbh. Would only use antarctica if i play 6 player game.

I am surprised that the toy companies never made a world war 2 version of Risk...??? I don't think I would enjoy this one as much

I am more of an Axis and allies guy, but I would like to grab a couple Risk versions for more casual nights with my friends. Which would you suggest? I would get the core version and one or two more.

Greetings. I need to know: In the Risk 2210 game, when and how are the 3 8-sided dice used? At what time are 3 dice of 8 rolled? I would be grateful if you could help me with this question. Because I don't see it in the manual. Thanks.

The d8's are associated with the special pieces that come with Risk 2210. These are the land commanders, sea commanders etc. Armies also defend space stations with d8's. Some of the power up cards also activate the eight siders.

Okay. Could you please give me an example of when the 3 dice of 8 are rolled? Well, the commanders, unless they are in their own type of territory, only attack with the 6.

Any unit defends a space station with a d8 roll. So that is one way you could see multiple d8s. The land, sea, nuclear, and space commanders all attack with a d8. They actually don't have to be in their own type of territory to attack with a d8. To launch a land attack anywhere you just have to have a land commander somewhere on the board. Same thing with the other commanders. The other thing the commanders do is allow you to buy power up cards from their associated decks. Some of the power ups allow you to roll regular attacks with d8's instead of d6's. Hope that helps.

Okay. Thanks for the input. May I suggest you to prepare a video where you explain only how 8 sided dice are used in the game.
But then it can be understood that, if I have 3 commanders together in the same territory (regardless of what it may be), can a different one be attacked by rolling 3 d8's? (except the diplomat who never uses it).
