I was looking for a build like this just yesterday and find it funny you just happened to have one ready for 1.10 so thank you! I see you have so many great build videos. Would you ever consider ranking your favorite builds you’ve made in a video?
Honestly one of my favorite (I have many) builds in general. Black Flame stuff is just so cool (or... hot?) and love the whole godslayer theme (including the Black Knife assassins... so naturally that's the armor set I generally wear with my Black Flame Witch). The build had to be altered though since I had the Black Knife + Misericorde (Flame of the Redmanes)[Flame Art] setup.... *sighs* rip FotR but I still love the black flame stuff regardless.
Could you elaborate on your build/stat spread? I'm trying to do the black knife but two black knives and this build
I'm in love with this kind of build, I'm using it right now on my main.
With the greatsword I'm also using the Goldskin Peeler, paired with the Blackflame Tornado ash of war for an insanely fun build and with some variety between the weapons.
For the Talismans I also use (switching between the ones in the video and these) the Godfrey Icon to further boost the incantations like Black Flame and the Bull-Goat's Talisman to boost poise if needed.

I tried to love this GS and black flame spells so many times but I always failed. Onyx GS from DS3 and dark pyromancies were so so much better. I hope DLC brings more black flame and death spells. Sorc Int/Dex build still the best and most powerfull for me.
I was doing this 2 months after it came out. It's always been a good build. I prefer godskin peeler with blackflame tornado. Melts
this build is extremely fun, im nearing end game and im not lvl 200 yet but it still melts bosses

Black flame protection as another buff after golden vow & before flame grant me strength for extra protection because you do swap hits with Godslayer.

This sword allowed me to go back to and old save where I messed up my stats.

You could double up on the seal to multi boost the incantations

You can also use Beast Champion's armour
The build looks fun but all you do i spam the same one skill over and over again. You only used the skill where he charges up the greatsword swing and thats it

Yeah, it is strong on subsequent NG+ since the DOT damage dealing up to 2-5% damage to their total HP

Where to start though? I understand all the bits but what order should I get them if I'm new to this?
Rush a somber weapon to +5 or +6, get the sleeping pots recipe and craft as many as you can, then kill the Apostle in Caelid Tower to get the Godslayer GS asap.
What is the ash of war @ 3:15 ? Looks like Queens black flame but with regular fire??
It’s the skill with the sword of night and flame, it’s for int/faith builds, which I will never Suggest anyone to use.

Godfrey Icon will give you better damage than Flock's when you charge your spells.
Would howl of shabriri be better asnit 25 percent to all damage
It's a bit of a trade off, I'd think. While you are getting an additional 5% damage to all sources compared to Flame, Grant me Strength, you'll also be taking 30% more damage from all sources. Because the fire scorpion charm is also lowering the damage negation the build has, you'll be taking some really heavy hits from enemies, possibly enough to 2 shot or even 1 shot you in NG+. So, It's probably up to preference: Either more damage with Howl of Shabriri with a bit longer buff time as well, or more defense and slightly less damage with Flame, Grant me Strength with a slightly shorter buff time. Good to note!

I would personally do the Lands Between rune for those extra levels
I personaly have mor end and less vigor and a little bit less str, but elden ring is my first soulslike so I do not have an experience and I can not do good builds

Vigor is Stat wise the most important Stat, 55/60 is minimum for pvp

Divide each of his stats by 4, then set yours as 3/4 of each ?
Pump dex to 55 to reach softcap, 20 str and 20 faith for minimum requirements of the Godslayer GS. 50-60 vigor so you don't get obliterated. Add as much endurance as you need depending on what you wanna wear, and more faith and mind if you want to cast more spells.

@@cashkode2561 this is my second playthrough i decided to use the blasphemous blade but in the first one i used Mohg's spear and mimic tear for every hard boss like malenia and maliketh 😂😭

Why is no one mentioning that the ash of war is easily interrupted when any enemy hits you even once? Build sucks
It’s about the timing
It only stuns you if it’s the bosses are using there heavy attacks
Some bosses like radahn only uses heavy attack

I’m doing tons of damage around level 100.
Just stop at 40 vigor and focus dext up to around 45 and faith up to 30.
@@Psycho_Raged who fucking cares, Elden Ring is by far the worst fromsoft soulsgame anyway. Ever since Ds3 Miyasaki can't make a soulsgame that doesn't have super cheap difficulty or even the shadow of an attempt at balance. You can be the smoothest brain out there and faceroll your way through elden ring by playing any kind of sorcery build, you can be the smoothest of brains and just pick any weapon with innate bleed on it and faceroll your way through the game. However if you don't play with sorcery, or bleed, or the next super broken thing in the game Miyazaki and his hacks of developers didn't playtest, and just a normal str or dex, or quality build the game shits on you.
