Unfortunately not! I luckily don’t use phantom for live though
Good review. The other thing to add is you can't plug in headphones, I suppose through the 3 prong line out? For instance if I just wanted to hear through my headphones so my neighbors don't hear me late at night.
I don’t think u can. But maybe u can use it as an interface into a computer and use headphones?

I translated your comment to read! Forgive my delay. Typically gain as separate from volume would be set differently depending on what microphone you’re using.
I would suggest looking up best gain boost for “model of your microphone” into goggle.

I actually looked into it and couldn’t find a good cheaper version of the Bose S1 backpack (linked in description).
There is a very light pull over cover u can buy, but it’s hardly any protection and I can’t believe it doesn’t just come with it.
I will say if u drop the money on the official S1 backpack, it is incredibly nice.
Tell me if there is any difference between them?
I feel like the bass has more fullness and clarity to it. It’s seems louder to me as well. Those are the reasons I still kept it along with the travel size and I like the backpack.

Couldn’t you plug the modules back in to charge during breaks?
Potentially.. But I’m always talking to people in breaks and would easily forget to do it (also gotta mute every single time to avoid pops, let alone when I’m daisy chaining). I’m more of a set it and forget it kinda guy, so I can get lost in the music more easily.
is it okay to use the speaker while charging?
I’ve used while plugged in. I’m not sure how it affects the charging. But I haven’t had any troubles
I bought the S1 Pro Plus from Guitar Center last week and just got the Bose Wireless Adapter yesterday. Definitely going take the wireless thing back. BUT I'm also considering returning the S1 Pro Plus and getting the EV Everse 8 - think it will have more headroom but I'm not sure. Funny thing is, I'm still waiting on the backpack form Sweetwater, LOL. I wonder if the Everse 8 will fit in the backpack, LOL. That could be the only thing end up keeping.

They have a case for the Everse for $100. U could return the Bose one and save a couple bucks.
@brentbrownmusic So tonight I was able to do some comparisons becauae I actually own an EV Zxa1-powered speaker. I've used it for busking but I have to take a small mixer, a portable battery, and a small effects pedal for my guitar. The Bose S1 is definitely more "portable" BUT the EV Zxa1 is way more clear and accurate. Very punchy with lots of headroom. I'm playing along with backing tracks that are very bass heavy. The Bose just doesn't cut it.
Since you have chosen not to use the Bose wireless modules, do you still think it was worth upgrading? Because perhaps the extra 200 bucks wasn’t really good return on value. So what is the extra value of the plus that justifies the 200 bucks?
For me it was, but that’s only cause I wanna get more out of my bass octave and stomp box. The regular s1 didn’t give me the low end I wanted. It’s gonna come in handy for a travel gig coming up
I don't get payed by the amount of decibels I produce so I love the s1 pro I make music not sound pressure I bose comes out with a box the size of a match box I'll buy that one if I want to carry heavy stuff I go to the gym and start weight lifting

Is the Pro + louder than the Pro when simply streaming music?
I don't know if it's louder by db's. But it's more full sounding. Someone actually commented great bass to me while I was performing a smaller show with that as the main/monitor. I was still impressed with the S1, but I much prefer the plus sonically.

My issue is I can't get the wireless transmitter to even work. It's connected to the speaker and charged but nothing when plugged into my guitar and powered on.
Definately sounds like a broken unit. I would return or contact Bose!
I worry about the fact that this speaker is only 150 watts and I’m a dj, but i do have the sub 2
It’s situational for sure! It’s just super nice for smaller gigs. The fact it actually sounds great is impressive.
I was worried about the same thing. As a DJ, you should never buy a speaker like this to pound dance music with at an event. This is more for acoustic guitar, singers, and wedding ceremonies. And of course, sitting by the pool with your friends. I bought it for ceremonies and having a third speaker across the room to kind of fill in sound from the backside. I rip people’s faces off with my QSC K12.2 mains and EV subs.

In theory... This would be experimental so you know lol. You could use the usb power on the speaker to power this as a 48v source.
