Dude. I have a seizure disorder and got pulled over for a burned out headlight. When I handed the deputy my license, insurance and registration, I explained that I was due to take my medication and that flashing lights could trigger a seizure. He was totally cool. They have to have lights on, but they can turn off the flashers on the front. I made sure that the bulb got changed in the morning. No ticket. No drama. People need to behave.
I got pulled over one night cuz one of my tail lights was out and the cops gave me a ticket and impounded my truck, i paid for it to get out that weekend though
@@user-bp2dv3uq5b i'm guessing it also depends on the place you live and its law and regulation about it. plus in most cases it requires you to not have had a seizure for a certain period of time and probably also an ok from a doctor.
If you ask me, Shawn Malarky is one of the worst. Not only did she resist and bite the officers, but she clearly treats her children as more of an excuse to get out of trouble, rather than treating them as people. It's disgusting, honestly.
The woman who left her kids in the car for over 4 hours should have her kids taken away. She needs to smarten up. It's horrible the way people who are unappreciative and poor parents have them and those who really want don't have them.
What a win for the officer who bought the hat and gloves for the homeless woman. That's a good cop right there, good dude in general. We all need to help one another and stop being ok seeing other human beings go without. Do your part, because if it was you in that situation, you would want someone to help you.
Brittany seriously angered me when she used that. The fact that she couldn't keep the amount of time since he passed straight tells me that she's just using him as an excuse. I'm so sorry to hear how you lost your brother 💔💔 What an incredibly unnecessary tragedy for you and your loved ones to go through. Digusting people still act like they do in these clips.
@michellestephens4010 Yep, from what I heard stated, was that her brother was driving intoxicated with her and 2 other people. He lost his life, and I believe they said she was hurt enough to go to the hospital... but I don't think they reported as to what happened with the other passengers. You would think that experience would scare her completely straight edge.
As I get older I'm getting more and more sensitive. When that officer bought that girl the hat and gloves after trying to steal it bc she was cold and homeless, I cried like a baby. God bless the police who love there jobs and have compassion. That man will have God karma come to him. He truly did not have to do that. Thank you for being a beautiful soul. To other officers in the field take notes . This is an outstanding individual.
That's what happens when u don't scream and yell and resist. That was a person struggling to live out in the cold, a man who genuinely is trying to do good in that community. I hope they're both doing well as times are hard for most of us these days. It's nice to see a happy outcome and huge shout-out to the channel for including that clip in the video.

Corrupt cops should be held accountable for their actions but so should the citizens who break the law. Sooooo many of these cases could've been avoided had the person complied with law enforcement.

Shawn needs to be put away forever. 3 DUIs with child passengers is crazy. The fact that she still had a driver's license after 2 is nuts. Clearly she refuses to learn her lesson.
And this is one of those things rarely discusses when watching these videos. The actual items being stolen and why. 99% of the time it's crap they just want and don't actually need. Or they're going to try and resell it for cash. And then there's this case. Where in her mind she wasn't stealing out of need, she was stealing out of desperation.
I look at the case of Sarah, the lady with the beer, a little differently than you might. I've been violently, and domestically, raped and physically abused. So when a group of men surround me or pursue me, even if my brain knows they're cops or friendly or otherwise not going to hurt me, my body would DEFINITELY want to drop what I'm holding and escape. And when being held or detained physically even by 1-2 men I'd fight and scream. I'm NOT mentally ill or have psychosis, and I've been working on my PTSD for years since the episodes that caused them - I've come a long way - but I nearly got put in restraints and arrested for fighting the paramedics when I had septic pneumonia and my boyfriend called 911. Because I felt SAFE in the house, but a group of men were carrying me outside to a stretcher, and being outside at night is another of my triggers. My brain was not operating, I was a wounded wild animal trying to escape a predator. Only when my boyfriend got their attention and explained what was wrong, asked the malepatamefics to give me room, and came to my side was I able to EVENTUALLY calm down and let a female paramedic check me out and put me on the gurney and into the ambulance. I realize that this lady almost certainly did something wrong, but she appears to have psych issues and/or drug abuse (which are reason enough to be paranoid and combative) and you don't know what traumas she's experienced or what other thoughts and beliefs she may have that would make her scared or combative when several cops are pursuing or holding her or trying to take her stuff and arrest her!
Okay that clip with the homeless woman ended so sweetly. Makes me sad that people do have to steal sometimes to survive but that cop did a really good thing for her.
The cop that helped out the homeless woman survive the winter is a true kind person. The store didn't even press charges which is amazing. All of them were so kind. The cop deserved being applauded by the entire department.
kind of. that was nice, but he doesn't get it. "9.47 isn't worth getting arrested..." Of course not. But being warm during the winter is 100% worth stealing for.
@@dublinphotoartin most states concealing something on ur person (in a purse in ur pants or jacket pockets etc) is automatically considered stealing cuz ur concealing which is seen as deception which is reasonable assumption of theft so in most states all tht needs to happen is someone witnesses u put something somewhere tht a worker won’t notice it and try to make you pay for it.
I figured that most people have a lawyer. Either through generational wealth or family ties. I don't, but... I just chalk that up to cultural differences.
@saturnargentavis1901 It's strange to think that most people do not have a lawyer. I can spend the next ten hours watching videos of people being arrested, and most of them, by the end of that case, where we find out what their charges are, we see a drastic decline of their charges. Either being dropped, disputed, settled for a smaller severity. It really does pay to have a damn good lawyer.

I love the way people say the same thing over and over and over. Especially when it's totally wrong, like "you can't arrest me". Or "I didn't do anything" right after they fight with the cops, try to bite them, kick them, etc., then they are told they're going to jail and have the audacity to say, "for what?"
I am a recovered alcoholic, though I never had a DWI. Even I cannot understand how in the world a young lady who lost her brother 3 months ago because he was driving intoxicated with her in the car can turn around and do the same thing. How is Mom going to take it if she loses another child the same way? Then there is the fact she knows she can kill someone else. Self centeredness to a whole new level.
She's angry that she can't drive drunk, and she has the audacity to say my brother died in a car accident but leaves out the part where her brother was drunk. If she couldn't learn from that, you probably just can't reach her. 😳 She's extremely immature as well
Why don't American police use vans, like almost every other police force? It's way easier to put someone into a van than some squashed SUV. Seems strange
There are two lessons to take from this: body-cams are a necessity in law enforcement as it CLEARLY shows who is at fault, and if a police officer asks you some questions, best to just answer them honestly. Are there bad eggs out there? Yes, on both sides, but the police are there to uphold the law, so don’t make their lives any harder.
Best thing to do is not say anything until you talk with your lawyer. Even if you didn't do anything. You don't know what kind of cop you got and some try to get something arrestable out of you.
@@woiken3957 from what I’ve seen and learned, you gotta keep quiet and just do what the officer tells you to do. Don’t give them ammunition for anything. But it doesn’t belong in this video because she wasn’t entitled. She just had to do what she could to survive.

@KE-nt6zo let me guess, Cali?
Why are u able to drive still? I have epilepsy and am not lawfully able to drive.
I agree and she tried to run her husband over with her car!! Sick woman!
She's a danger to the lives of those children. I hope child protective services took them from her and placed them in a better home.
And then she gets misdemeanor charges against the assault on the officers. 😡😡😡
The woman who left her kids in the car for over 4 hours should have her kids taken away. She needs to smarten up. It's horrible the way people who are unappreciative and poor parents have them and those who really want don't have them.
Imagine, someone married that.
The officer who bought the homeless lady the hat and gloves is an absolute legend ......what a asset to the police force
So true😊
What a win for the officer who bought the hat and gloves for the homeless woman. That's a good cop right there, good dude in general. My brother died too in a car accident. He was sober, coming home from work and killed by a drunk. I never drove drunk to get through it Brittany…
Brittany seriously angered me when she used that. The fact that she couldn't keep the amount of time since he passed straight tells me that she's just using him as an excuse.

"One, two, three... Take the cuffs off me!" Sarah should win the Poet of the Year Award for her wonderfully brief but powerful poem.
I realize that this lady almost certainly did something wrong, but she appears to have psych issues and/or drug abuse (which are reason enough to be paranoid and combative) and you don't know what traumas she's experienced or what other thoughts and beliefs she may have that would make her scared or combative when several cops are pursuing or holding her or trying to take her stuff and arrest her!

kind of. that was nice, but he doesn't get it.

@saturnargentavis1901 It's strange to think that most people do not have a lawyer. I can spend the next ten hours watching videos of people being arrested, and most of them, by the end of that case, where we find out what their charges are, we see a drastic decline of their charges. Why don't American police use vans, like almost every other police force? It's way easier to put someone into a van than some squashed SUV. Seems strange
"My hairs in my mouth"...yeah sweetie, that'll work
There are two lessons to take from this: body-cams are a necessity in law enforcement as it CLEARLY shows who is at fault, and if a police officer asks you some questions, best to just answer them honestly.
Are there bad eggs out there? Yes, on both sides, but the police are there to uphold the law, so don’t make their lives any harder.
even if a cop is arresting you unlawfully, that's what court is for. resisting arrest is never a good idea
So, yes, talk to your lawyer, but DON’T GIVE COPS REASONS TO ARREST YOU!!!!!

@@judahcreighton1544 Exactly. Even it's unlawful you shouldn't argue with the person who has a gun. If you just obey you might even be able to sue the department if they broke a rule
