Incrível como a companhia dos pais é foda. Lembro do meu pai, todos os dias me esperando na estação de metrô as 23:00 hrs da noite, frio, chuva, pra ir me buscar quando chegava da faculdade. Meu pai é TUDO pra mim, enquanto eu viver, todo meu trabalho será pra dar uma velhice digna a eles.

Coitado do Medina mas pra mim ele nem precisava entrar na disputa da remada naquela onda com Caio pq tava com o surf em outro nível nessa etapa, miseravi iria sair ganhando tudo de novo kkkkk tomara que ele seja tri logo logo!

I figured it out. Why I don't like Gabby's surfing style at all compared to the exemplar of surfing in this current zeitgeist - JJF. Gabby puts the board in the right places to win two World Championships and does the airs as well as anyone - well not quite as good as Noah, but I digress - . The reason is the body language. The body tension and dynamic. Gabby - wired, tense, ball of muscle and passion. Almost angry. JJF- loose, relaxed, extremely casual from a non-informed observer's perspective, whilst still putting his board through arcs, carves, lines and airs in the critical parts of the wave (just like Gabby). JJF - harks back to that MP type of looseness in his shapes that to me at least, demonstrates more of a one-ness with the wave and the ocean. It's all in the attitude of the mind which is then reflected in the body. Completely different styles.

He’s one of he most switched on surfers I’ve seen, he very clearly didn’t intend to do that and obviously when the world titles on the line you’re going to pissed off when the wsl makes a priority error like that

No vídeo que tem a Rosie Hodge comentando, tem a imagem que mostra claramente o Medina já no pico e o Caio remando paralelamente, ainda abaixo da linha do pico. Pra mim ela é conclusiva. E com o Gabriel ainda dizendo que ele olhou para traz e estava amarelo.... depois não ficou mais... Ficou bem feio pra WSL.
Nesse vídeo, Ciao já estava sentado em seu conselho e recebeu prioridade, depois começou a remar mais fundo, por isso você o vê remando. Medina

Sou fã do Medina, mas vamos aos fatos: o Medina tentou sim interferir na onda do Caio. É uma questão de linguagem corporal. Enquanto ouve a penalidade, a imagem é clara: Gabriel faz cara de desentendido, como um "joão sem braço". Tentou sim interferir no desempenho do Caio e a WSL o penalizou corretamente
E existem outros vídeos do Medina fazendo a mesma coisa. Não é de hoje que ele faz isso.

Tô esperando até hoje a Wsl mostrar o vídeo sem imagem editada. Hahaha wsl não quer ver o Medina disparar em títulos assim como aconteceu com o Kelly isso perderia mídia e fans pelo mundo. Nenhuma hegemonia é boa para negocio. Hoje ganha o título quem eles querem.

Medina leave your father in Brazil. First he is a lousy surfer,does not have a glue of competition and above all give you the right calls. Far more important make you look like a crook,which you are not. Now him telling you to snake Caio's wave and not telling about not having priority at Portugal , all the repercussion over that.Better start thinking things over and leave him behind.He already did his job,now is up to you going follow your own path. Why not try to have a pro by your side, bet there are many willing to work with you. Now Caio is a spoiled brat,money for him was never an issue since his family has plenty of money.

There is no reason for Medina to interfere with the fall since he needed a very high grade and he is not a surfer to achieve that score, let alone the wave could afford a high grade. WSL error. Mistakes happen, the video is precisely to show that he did not intend and harm his opponent. I think they apologized in a beautiful and elegant way about what happened.
Marcelo Frota look at how he surfs, there's no doubt he's really good but he acts like an entitled dickhead who's pretty lucky someone hasn't clocked him. Would of liked to see him pull that shit against sunny a few years ago
