HI, did you end up making a followup video on making the bracket, I'm in the process of making one and would like to see what you're making. Looks good and I need to move that indicator box as you just can't see the thing. Did you use the speedo bracket to mount it on?
Hi Rodney sorry for the late reply. I moved on from the KLR several months ago and 'upgraded' to a Tenere 700. Therefore I haven't got the bike to look at but from memory I mounted it to the screw holes in the front of the top triple clamp. I think there were a couple of holes to the left and right. The perspex (plexiglass) was bent and fitted perfectly. Other option is to make it a little wider than I had but not too much as it will start to flex too much. Good luck! Cheers
Would be nice to see how or where you fastened the dash. I'm building mine right now and using the traditional riser mounting. I'm also using the shinny black plexiglass. But going to sand it to a mat finish to reduce glare.
Thanks NZJohny ADV it does the job nicely. I watched your vid on a trail stand (I enjoy and appreciate your posts) and have reinvented it myself in a vid I'm about to post. Be interesting to get your thoughts. Cheers mate
Nice upgrades!

Thanks Gary and apologies re late reply. Moved on since then to a Tenere 700 and now even thats gone. Not too sure whats coming next! Cheers
