You definitely help me out huge I didn't watch this video until after I bought new carburetors but the guy I got the quad from had the same problem he mixed up the idle Jet with the air jet the right cylinder was just pissing fuel sure enough that was it he had everything backwards but I couldn't figure that out until I watch this thanks again! Hey man what’s up! Start out with stock pilots, 25’s, I’d start with like a 310 main jet on the stock needle on 3rd groove from top. 6 groove in 4th would probably be better. Engines vary a lot so you may need more fuel or less but that “should” put ya close around 80° temps at sea level.
I've bought a banshee and added some parts that came with it. CDI, cool head, + stator plate, etc. But now it won't start when you kick it but will start instantly with a quick push. Where would you start problem solving?Can you help? Love from 🇬🇧

I know this off topic of this video but was wondering if you can help me. I just bought a blown up 2000 banshee and rebuilt it. I added gas to gas tank turned on the peacock value and gas is pouring out of every hole in both carbs even holes that gas should not come out of lol. I took both of them apart cleaned them adjusted floats and put them back on and gas is still coming out every where. These are the stock TORS carbs also. Any help thanks and have great day
I recently bought a 2000 4mil banshee in El Paso Texas and brought it to Albuquerque New Mexico. The elevation is 5000 and El Paso is 3000. Should I rejet the carb from 290 to 270? Thanks
So how do you know you need to adjust the air screw instead of the idle screw? Like if you’re starting the bike for the first time how do you know if you need to turn the idle screw down or if you need to mess with the air screw
My buddy just bought a banshee and we cleaned the carbs and I noticed that the o rings on the little parts didn't feel rubbery anymore , it runs great but when you just blip the throttle at idle it kinda bogs, I was wondering about those o rings and thinking he should get a rebuild kit, would that cause a bog

ah makes sense why my banshee ran fine in the sumer 35C now its 20C and it has a horrible bog.. stock banshee all the way 28mm rdlc 31k carbs 210 jet 22.5 pilot air screw at 2 stock air box no snorkel and twin air filter and it ran fine for 4 hours in the summer, now it bog so someone on facebook said air screw at 1turn and put the snorkel back on, i did and it ran way better (still missing a bit) but i guess seeing this video my pilot jet is so small if i understand correct i should buy 25 and 27.5 pilot to try? cause i put a a 220 main jet and no change, ow and carb needle height is at middle 3 groove
hey brother i got some xpro pistons with riken rings but it sent 3 rings i dont know how to install the octagon looking ring is it a oil ring or a spacer for the bottom ring do you know how to run those should i leave it out

Hey man. I hope all is well. Where is the best place to get jets for stock carbs at? I just added a set of fmf fatty pipes and fmf silencers to my 14 year olds banshee. Elevation is at 800ft (Cincinnati). According to everything I have read i should be good using a 27.5 pilot and a 290 main. Any help would be appreciated. I'm sure jets are like anything else. You get what you pay for.

Hey man I got a bog off idle, with the trinity single carb, any tips? My adjustment screw is 4 turns out(I know that's way too much). But that's the only way I got power in the powerband. If i put it at 1 1/2 turns out no power in any rpms.

Rashad Dorsey What I was doing was closing the air screws to richen the air mixture. I never touched the "idle screws" cold weather higher idled pertain mostly always to lean idle circuits which you control with the air screws and or pilots

Hi ,, I have a yamaha banshee, it turns on when I pour gasoline through the carburetor, and when it cools down it doesn't turn on I have to pour gasoline, the carburetors have the new jet piol 30 ymain 290 kit, I checked everything from the current coil, spark plug new, stator good ohms, RPM 120 ohms. It has a new piston new cylinder .65 attena
So at 10 min in u gave the carb 2 whole turn an back them down to 1.5 of a turn just saying air jetting work like a clock from 12 to 6 its half of a turn just
Jules Start with 27.5 pilots especially if you have cool nights. Throw in a 300-310 main jet and see how it acts. That should put you in the ball park. Needle position;3rd from top air screw 1 turn open
I’m in SoCal, my friend with T5s ran a 280 main, 27.5 pilots, needle in the middle, airscrews about 2 turns out. Ran good at glamis and pismo. If you’re having to run over a 310 main without porting, you might have an air leak somewhere.

My Banshee idles okay but when I ride it at three-quarters of a throttle it runs fine but when I give it Full Throttle it bogs down what do you think my problem is

dshamar14 bump up to a 340 main, you should be good on the 27.5, but you might want to bump up to a 30 pilot, I’m assuming your needle is in the middle, airscrews 1.5-2 turns out.
My banshee has almost the exact same set up as urs ...it has an aggressive trail port and other than that, its pretty much exact..+5 timing advance, T5’s with jet kit...Thing is an absolute beast.
@@jravienanderson5739 anywhere from a 340-370 main, 30 pilots, needle in the middle, air screws 1-2 turns out. I don’t know your elevation, but that’s where I would start, every setup is different.

Would too small of a main jet cause it to not be able to kick start? I can roll start it and it will kick start when it’s warm but not cold.

What’s a good Ball park jet for at 5000ft elevation trail riding and hills on trails I have a full set of toomy 5 exhaust and I’m in California
So i just richened up mine. And should the idle get higher from richening it?

South Texas banshee my carbs keep leaking gas I did tors delete and I can't keep too stay on only if I keep hold the front brake y !????????:(
