Channa Pardalis vs Channa Aristonei - Battle of the Blue Coldwater Beasts!

Channa Pardalis (Meghalaya Leopard) and Channa Aristonei (Red Mosaic) are two incredible Channa which look quite similar to each other but with some subtle differences. In this video i put them both side by side to see how their colors match up and how they are different!

is channa bipuli able to tolerate warmer temps or the same range?

Bipuli is found in the same area as aristonnei and pardalis, definitely needs cold water

Indeed, in my experience, it took 1 week for the fish to finally comes out from his hiding in the tank. I mean compared to other snakehead species, it is long time.

Agree, both of these species are quite shy and like to hide a lot, takes a while for them to adjust compared to say Bleheri or Andrao
