the sight of a howling banshee is usually the last thing mortals realize before everything is over and Sylvanas is not just another banshee... she is the banshee.
When they said innocence they meant innocent civilians, they were fighting hard on dark shore in order to protect them. There’s a quest where you had to save as many civilians as you could in under 2 minutes as the tree was burning. Some of the priestesses in the tree refused to leave but to burn with the tree, my guess in how many civilians survived was at least 20%
The other 2 Warbringers cinematics, along with the full cinematics like Old Soldier, and the ingame cutscenes like Terror of Darkshore, give you a more complete idea of the story (something Blizzard began doing a lot with the Warlords expansion and continuing into Legion and BfA)
That tree Teldrassil was the home of the night elf people......she basically put the nail in the coffin of a whole race. There was a quest (if you played Alliance) where you had to save as many people as you can before a timer ticked down. It was very jarring and horrific because the whole time you hear the screams of women and children while you run through a burning city pulling people out of a fire. Understand this Sylvanas was once a hero in life but in undeath she became a vile monster. She experimented on the living and killed whole populations of civilians because she could. She lied to the forsaken (the undead people) telling them they had free will to go as they please instead she lorded over them with a iron fist behind her allies backs she did horrible things and planned the destruction of the world and afterlife. This was the attack that lead to the fourth war that is battle of Azeroth. React to the other two warbringers Jaina and Azshara.
That quest gave you 3 minutes to save 1000 civilians and it became apparent immediately that that was never going to happen before you succumbed to the smoke. It was designed to instill a feeling of hopelessness and guilt, that you, the grand heavyweight champion hero of the world, couldn't save more people from a genocidal attack.
Man.. I really hope you would have said;"This is coming from two people who haven't had experience with warcraft... Or getting stabbed" I still chuckled qt the thought of it though. Really enjou you guys' reactions, and keen eyes on the important details. The cinematic team at blizzard also include incredibly cool homages to previous titles or major lore.
Not even close to most evil. These ruthless and brutal in her methods, but she DOES fight for freedom of all mortals. From her PoV life simply doesn't matter much in comparison to the eternity of death and the distortion of her by Frostmourne took all her actual feelings about it.
guys really need to watch the other warbringers also with jaina and azshara, and gotta watch all the battle for azaroth cinematics, they tell a huge long story up until shadowlands cinematic
Sylvanas' die hard fans still justifying her actions especially in the recent Shadowland expansion about the bigger picture and whatnot. Like, doing terrible stuff to the enemy faction is one thing, but this is the equivalent of her torching the fallout shelter full of civilians, not to mention the Teldrassil tree itself is the most sacred thing to the Night Elves, all because she got triggered from being called out.
If she thinks she can just rewrite time by breaking the Afterlife perhaps she thought the ends justified the means. If she even intends to unwrite her doing this as well. I feel ya though.
@@AKasap-sh1qz well, my two favorite characters are Sylvanas and Jaina, both had their bad times (Sylvanas obviously way more often as Jaina) but I like the story of those two.
Normally if someone on UA-cam says they are a actor and doesn't give their full name or try to promote whatever movies/shows they are in then they are normally extras in the background or are in porn. I'm not saying that's the case here but it normally is like 90% of the time

@Anton chugah Licker a lot of people hate her, mostly alliance players but also a few others.

Obviously not, since there are still many Night Elves alife.
If you liked this storybook, then check out the one called "Lords of War." It's a 5 part series for Warlords of Draenor.
Check out "Old Soldier" it connects this cinematic to the Battle for Azeroth cinematic.

If u notice the tears are burned into her body she carries them around with here even today.
I love the storyboard style. It concentrates your attention on detail rather than the character

The Dark Lady watches over you!
Sylvanas is both one of the most tragic characters of WoW lore and...arguably....the most evil.
Honestly by this point I wouldn't even say she channels evil, she channels pure annihilation.
She hates the world, she hates life itself - but most of all, she hates herself.
Not even close to most evil.
