As a young teenager growing up in the 60's and had a transistor radio which was a big deal to me and I heard the song Runaway by Del Shannon and from then on loved listening to all his songs and loved them and now I'm in my 70's and still loved listening to his songs but now in my computer. ❤ RIP
@@trevorjennings720 thank you for asking, I am okay but I am also one of those who lost a son and who was not supposed to leave so soon and leaving me so heartbroken. I never thought to see so much disarray in a country that has overcome so much tragedy and now I don’t recognize it’s people so deeply divided over someone who doesn’t deserve it. It has been eight years of sorrows.
@@normabrien8331 Hey Norma, I'm really sorry to hear about the loss of your son. Losing a loved one is an incredibly painful experience, and it's completely understandable to feel heartbroken. Grief is a journey that takes time, and it's important to allow yourself to feel and process all the emotions that come with it. It can be disheartening to witness division and disarray in a country that has gone through so much tragedy. Sometimes it feels like things are falling apart, but it's important to remember that even in challenging times, there are still good people out there who are working towards unity and understanding. If you ever need someone to talk to or just want to share your thoughts and feelings, I'm here for you. Sending you strength and support during this difficult time. Hope you’re having a nice and a wonderful day today??
His little town flirt song was all the go when i left school when i left school at 15 im now 74 the art teacher said to me when i asked for her autogaph as you did in those days i would never make a first class citizen because i will be honest i never made a full wk at school i was no trouble just didnt like it the the end to this story is she was a married woman having an affair with the gym teacher everyone knew he had a sports shop not far away from where i lived its stuck in my mind for all these ys 😂
So talented. So tragic he apparently didn't fully realise how we loved and appreciated his music. Sadly, he took his own life .We don't know the loss of hope and desperation he must have felt. I could only dream of having the talent he had.
This interviewer is really on it. And to have Del play and explain so much...and he sounds so good.
The greatest. Rock on DEL.
