Never had the actual Live experience that you've had with Asimo, but upon looking at other robots, Asimo's fluidity of movement seems light yrs ahead of the bulky mechanical movement of other robots. i think you're right saying 20 yrs. It's all dependent on the price of manufacturing these robots. i don't know how much an ASIMO would cost, but maybe if we could buy a robot that does all house cleaning & cooks for ~$1000 to $2,000, i bet they'd start to be common in households. I give it 20 years. I should make a note in my calendar that I made this prediction to see how seriously wrong I was :P
so when do you think we'll have an ASIMO robot in every household like we currently have 1 or 2 computers in every household now :)?
