I truly sympathize with this, three-four years ago, when someone compared ASIMO and ATLAS I always asserted that ASIMO has exquisite motion control ability which ATLAS doesn't have like moving finger with perfect strength and angle, but at present, just watching the marvelous movement of the newest ATLAS. Boston dynamic has been improving their fascinating robot constantly. Even though still some abilities of ASIMO are better than ATLAS, time has changed and ASIMO's strength is not as startling as a couple of years ago. I miss the past when ASIMO overwhelmed and led the robot technology cuz now ATLAS obviously has overtaken it.
They need to update him. He's been the exact same for over 6 years, still the same speed, and still not commercial.
