In Season 5 He's Crazy And A Drunk Unbalanced And Unfocused And Mentally Drained And He Lost To Terry Sliver in Brutal Fashion. But It Took Johnny Having Heart To Heart With Him And Mr Miyagi's Old Room And His First Student Robby Bringing Him Back. Season 5 is Redemption Arc For Daniel So Yeah Daniel Does Lose if You Actually Watched The Show You Would Have Known What They Were Doing.
