Igly was clocking everybody’s tea. He said “Matt is smart when it’s convenient” and “misses Lockwood does nothing for 2 seasons and now she’s badass.”😂😂😂
one of my favorite exchanges " I know I promised not to buy you anything so don't worry I didn't pay for it" "you stole it?" "Noooo. I found it" its just funny to me for some reason
RIPPAH STEFAN!!! (Sidenote: They say IRL Paul Wesley is more like Damon and Ian Somerhalder is more like Stefan 🤣). He is so scary but you can see he's really struggling. Paul honestly does such an amazing job at playing this side of the character. That ending scene with Stefan and Elena on the phone is one of my favourite scenes EVER and I became obsessed with that song (A Drop in the Ocean by Ron Pope). Poor Alaric as well 💔 And then we have horny Caroline & Tyler, his crazy mother, Jeremy seeing ghosts of girlfriends' past and Bonnie nowhere to be seen since she's not needed for some witch stuff 🤣 Btw, Kevin Williamson did co-write this episode but then didn't write any episode until the last season. As for The Originals, Corey is right: S1 starts during S5 of TVD and 4x20 of TVD is the unofficial backdoor pilot of The Originals. Technically you don't really have to watch it at that point since there are no direct crossovers but I STRONGLY recommend it, as there might be a few spoilers from the other show that will otherwise be confusing.
The necklace scene with damon and elena in the room is so intimate. It’s one of my favorite delena moments. The way elena looked at damon was filled with so much chemistry.
you can also tell that when damon yelled at her, he clearly regretted it, but it was what Elena needs to hear in that moment. She was in denial that the victims were Stefan’s.
Us Damon defenders have been fighting for our lives because we couldn’t fully defend ourselves without spoiling. The truth is we’re all out here ride-or-dying for problematic faves (in different ways obvs). Certain replies always come for me when I say that but I’ve been on prescription grade cope for two seasons now so I recognize a fellow user when I see one lol. When it comes to being on team (insert vampire) anywhere in media, we’re all playing the same sport: desperate moral relativism hinged on willful cognitive dissonance. It’s what makes this genre so fun and unserious. We’re in for a good season with a bit of a wind shift...
Corey ( Blake & Igli too ), Kevin Williams and Julie Plec wrote this episode, which they developed the series based off the book series of the same written by L. J. Smith. This episode was officially the last episode he wrote for the series, until he returned to write the SE8 premiere and series finale with Julie Plec. Kevin remained and executive producer on the series for all eight seasons. Besides seasons one & two he was also the showrunner for seasons four & six.
Carol Lockwood attacking Caroline was slightly foreshadowed earlier in the episode when Caroline noticed how his mom's always watching her when she comes over. Somehow she noticed something was off with Caroline (although, she also set a clever trap, putting vervain on Caroline's handbag to test whether her theory was correct and temporarily stun Caroline so she could shoot her darts). Carol being a bit of a surprising badass...
The Stefan/Elena phone call scene is one of the best of the entire series 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 Paul Wesley begged for a different side of Stefan & he really delivered with Ripper Stefan!!!!!!
Ian wanted a real reaction from Nina in the towel scene so he was completely naked, no bubbles and elephant ears taped to his thighs, and that was her reaction.
Welcome to season 3!!! I wanna say even with everything going on with Stefan right now, he keeps trying to save Damon. Stefan killed Andy because he knew that would be the only way to get Damon to back off from following him since Klaus was going to deal with it himself. Also that last scene between Elena and Stefan is exactly what he needed. He was about to have a break down, and just wanted to hear her voice. Such a sweet scene between them, and one of my favorite "stelena" moments. And Damon giving Elena the necklace was so sweet as well, because it was something Stefan gave to her so you can tell that it meant everything to Elena for Damon to be the one to give it back to her. This was a great start to a great season and it gets more wild.
One thing we need to understand about Stefan's scene with Andy is that it wasn't just about the reason he killed her, it's more about how he did it. Stefan didn’t have to torture her sadisticly like that, it was unnecessary and it showed how twisted Stefan’s dark side actually is, the way he was toying with her before he actually killed her was like a cat playing with his food before eating its preys and this reminded me of this line in S1E12, "That's because we are predators, Elena, we hunt, we stalk, it's often as exciting as the kill" The fact that Stefan was referring to himself there and the audience didn't catch on that statement at the time. If Damon had been there earlier, I would've had completely different take on that scene because if that was the case, it would make scene that this was also all part of his act, like Stefan was just putting on a show for Damon to convince him that he's too far gone to be saved and get Damon to stop trying to save him but Damon hadn't been there yet, so Stefan torturing Andy before killing her was just him enjoying the pleasure of hunting his prey and that part had nothing to do with protecting Damon or Elena. It just shows his undeniablely twisted dark side that obviously has elements of sadism in it.
@@mahamoon1917 Very much so. The writers go into great detail to show the depraved monster underneath the veneer of the "good human". Someone worse, much more worse than your average bloodsucker. And Elena's shock and refusal to believe this, shows how little he's allowed her to know him.
The team Stefan/team Damon camps tend to get even more annoying this season. TD: "See, Stefan is worse than Damon" . TS: "No, Damon kills people and feels no remorse". Blah, blah. They're both vampires. They both kill people. Neither one is all good or all bad.
i can't wait for the most emotional scene i've ever seen in a TV show. Season 3 episode ..... in the meanwhile, i'm not a big fan of The Originals. Best seasons are behind us "Red wedding" was a surprise, "For the watch" i was more angry than sad....The only other scene that made me cry so much on the first view is Mordin curing the genophage, but it's a videogame
You should do a reaction to the new movie that is coming out in 2025, it's called the conjuring 4 the last rite, it's the last movie that is being made, you will find it on youtube.

About Mrs. Lockwood…The same goes for Caroline I would day… 🤷🏼♀️😃
Ripper Stefan is here. An absolute psycho 😭
Not here just yet, Stefan is still doing all this with humanity on. It’s exciting when he’s fully HIM 🔥
@ agreed. But it’s the start to his demon arc.
“Delena”❤ has started guyz.

Kevin Williamson also wrote 4x01 as well

Damon with long hair looks so good omg. Season 3 Damon hits different for me. I love that we get to see Damon’s vulnerable side with Elena.
you can also tell that when damon yelled at her, he clearly regretted it, but it was what Elena needs to hear in that moment. She was in denial that the victims were Stefan’s.
That Delena scene when he gives her the necklace always lives rent free in my head🥰🥰😍😍💖
if you know you know :)
@frnknstndrgqn YESSSS🤭🤭
12:06 Caroline can never keep a secret to save her life lmao.
At this point is just annoying and unnecessary

I LOOOOOVE Season 3 😊
19:44 the way they just let "Klauset" fly by 😂
That scene at the end with the phone call is one of my favourite Stelena scenes ☹️💔
Same. This scene is just so powerful that anything that comes after this concerning a certain relationship seems so shallow in comparison
My personal favorite season ❤

Delena all the way
10:22 that actor David Gallagher (Ray) was audition for the role Stefan
Love Corey's theories about The Originals hhhmmm 🤭😉
Ian wanted a real reaction from Nina in the towel scene so he was completely naked, no bubbles and elephant ears taped to his thighs, and that was her reaction.
12:12 that was insane😂🤯
My Stelena heart ❤ the most iconic scene .
I am an absolute Delena shipper but that phone scene always makes me tear up a little bit
Elena’s necklace becomes more a Delena thing..
🤭🤭❤❤❤❤😭this moment >>>>>
That phone call in the end just so good
Clearly stefan is struggling and trying to keep others safe from klaus
Season3 >>>
I love the Rukia poster in the background Corey ⚔❤
Best season of vampire diaries!!!

Blah, blah. They're both vampires. They both kill people. Neither one is all good or all bad.
like exactly both are vampires ofc they kill people idk how either of them can be a better "MAN" they're literally predators
TThe best season yet!
OOP! 12:21 lmfao such a writer thing to do
I love The Originals predictions!
FINALLY🎉🎉🎉
good theory Corey

That’s weird how u liked their relationship you do know Damon is abusing and raping that poor woman
I will always love this episode because it has one of my favorite songs a drop in the ocean.
