My late grandfather and I crushed this game to make it 105%. Just picture in 1998 a 7/8-year-old me playing DKC3 on SNES sitting with his 65-year-old grandfather! I mean, he bought the books with all the level maps and playing it together! When he passed away in 2007 at 73, I sat down when school ended that Summer, just finished my junior year of high school at 16, I was on the couch with shin splints from Track and played it in one day as a salute to the ultimate and coolest grandfather a grandson could ever have, achieving the full 105% with a SNES and the cartridge! In the final months, one of the last things he wanted to do was play its entirety ONE MORE TIME, I'm sad he didn't live long enough, but at least I fulfilled it with his spirit sitting next to me. One of the smartest men and last gentlemen anyone could ever meet. Loved his grandkids, children, married to the love of his life for 50 years my grandmother, and enjoyed some of the trends as decades went by. I'm 32 soon to be 33, and he would have turned 90 this past May 18th.
The spiritual world/heaven, etc is completely real (this is the illusion...) Something tells me he's got a gameplay for donkey kong all set up for when you reunite again to play with you. Really wonderful story. Thank you for sharing it.
Thank you for doing what I could have never achieved as a kid. It’s satisfying to know the ending of this game I spent many hours on lol. Definitely didn’t expect the ending with the birds 😂
Let me say that the 3 chapters of this series are some of the most beautiful games I've ever played in life. Now, after many years, watching'em completely in walkthrough brought me many happy memories.
I remember watching my sister play this game. It is significantly more difficult than the first game just because there is so much to find and collect. But I have fond memories of this game. It took us forever to figure out that you were supposed to throw the barrels in the first boss’s mouth lol.
Impressive run. This may be the greatest series of all time.. dk country 2 and 3 gave me some amazing childhood memories and makes me want to jump back into the game!
I always preferred controlling Dixie instead of Kiddie. She's fast and nimble, which makes her easier to control. Or at least that's how I feel when I play her.
Thank you, I never discovered the lost world until now and always wanted to know for what reasons we got the birds....now its clear for me, my heart is happy cause I know now 1 big question from I was a kid, im 33 now, great job folks!
You took me down memory lane, what an awesome gameplay. I’m forty years old and I still talk about the DKC series, my wife gets tired of hearing about it I’m sure.
My Childhood my aunt and 2 uncles play this game when I was a little kid and so did I on Super Nintendo and I enjoyed playing it when it came back on Gameboy Advance
Doing the water rolls on River Race to get all the bonus stages & DK coin is one of the most frustrating things in all of the DKC games, maybe all of gaming 😅

Thank you and Happy Holidays!
Can we just talk about how beautiful the soundtrack to this game is? MASTERPIECE
Some of the soundtrack is CRAP.
@@Wolf-xu1fj No it isn't.
I've been waiting for this since you posted DKC 2 102%, this is my favorite DK and I really enjoy and appreciate your playthroughs.
Glad you enjoy it!
DKC3 is the most underrated of the trilogy.
because the others are just better. I still love it though
This game also came out the same year the N64 came out. Kind of got overshadowed.
Thank you for doing what I could have never achieved as a kid. It’s satisfying to know the ending of this game I spent many hours on lol. Definitely didn’t expect the ending with the birds 😂
Same! I think the furthest I ever made it was to the clam boss. After seeing the rest I think the first half of the game is better anyway
Let me say that the 3 chapters of this series are some of the most beautiful games I've ever played in life. Now, after many years, watching'em completely in walkthrough brought me many happy memories.
I got this game for my 6th birthday, and it was the most memorable birthday gift I've ever received
1:30:16 I never thought I’d be so shocked to see someone actually take damage, because it had been absolutely flawless up until right there! Lol

I was the same way, but Kiddie definitely came in handy when I needed to access areas below ground
THE GAME IS CRAZY
Et le joueur aussi. On dirait un ordinateur qui joue@@suzanadasilva907
I really enjoy your work. Amazing playthrough as it took my mind off life. Thank you!!
Thanks for watching! I appreciate it.

I couldn't have said this better myself. I love finally knowing what the birds were for.
Ah my god the memories! This DKC specifically used to creepy me out as a kid, the claymation-ish snowman in particular. Still loved it though!
Coming back to this game 28 years later is so interesting. Back when I was 9 or 10 this came out boy do I remember this being oh so hard.
This game is part of my childhood ❤
Me too
You took me down memory lane, what an awesome gameplay. I’m forty years old and I still talk about the DKC series, my wife gets tired of hearing about it I’m sure.

Love this game
Same its a classic
Same here
I still have this game in original hardware and beaten it. Impressive playthrough.
Last DKC game for SNES and I enjoyed it. 😄

That's neat, the bananas tell you how to suck up water using Ellie's trunk.
damn ! I never even knew about that, thanks for telling, what a wonderful childhood, i miss it so much 😊😊😊
These sequels did not disappoint in da least. Creative levels, amazing soundtrack...memories. Classics forever
Mannn this was awesome, i remember playing this as a kid epic times
yo también 😅
I agree with you. This was also the least favorite Donkey Kong to me, but still great game.
Thanks for uploading it.
Greetings from Spain!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Wow, this is great! No *Checkpoints* and *DK Barrels* is kinda of an official buff or something like that.
It's a cheat code, which is apparently need for 105% otherwise it would be 103%
My Childhood my aunt and 2 uncles play this game when I was a little kid and so did I on Super Nintendo and I enjoyed playing it when it came back on Gameboy Advance
I like it when you kill the alligators and they kinda groan
Pixel games need to be brought back more often
My childhood guys ehhhh.... This time ....
Idk people say this game isn’t as good as the prior two… imo I think it’s the best one of them all.
Same!
Although 1 and 2 were so much better this was still an incredible game!
Still have this game on the SNES, 28 years after I got it. Still love it to death
105% i can not belive. Congratularions 🎉❤
This also counts as a no self-damage run, which is absolutely epic.
I like the Christmas version of the bonus levels in this game. It's so cool!
I loved this as a kid.❤
You are really good at this game
This one was my favorite one!!!
The euphoria I felt when i finished the game and then discovered the secret world, looked like i wasn't done just yet❤️❤️❤️❤️
I was so close to finishing this game, needed like 2 more bananas left or something. Good times! Ahhhh
This game has some great levels.
Um dos melhores jogos do Snes , ainda espero jogar a rack do Dck 3
play this game with my mom, i miss her so much ❤
Sweet. Thanks for the upload!
I LOVED this game.
1:52:11 for the best song :)

How do you do the water rolls?
@@jessicaajessyy5419it’s Y on SNES, B on gameboy advance
But you have to press it when you hit the water
This, super Mario world and mega man X was my 3 main games for the snes back in the late 90s early, 2000s. They don’t make games like this anymore
Am I the only one who likes Kiddy Kong!? There's no bad traits about him, guys!
What a game !!

The fact that you lose a Kong and start another level with both like we didn't see you lose a Kong is superfluously unethical
They should remake all dk country games
Wowwwwww never realized music to World 1 Level 2 was Fever!!!!
Amazing vid
Didnt even know 105 is possible until now. :D
Ty for sharing

Why don't you try it on a pc with an emulator?
How do you swap places with the monkeys? I’m going insane idk how !!!! It’s vital

Cool
Why so long between this one and DKC 2?
Great game
This video would be great if there weren’t an add every couple minutes once you get past the hour to hour & a half mark
Feels like its zoomed in or something.
Why 105% ?
