I am retired now from operating equipment, but I would really enjoy trying these CTL with the attachments. I was in the heavy earth moving, mining environment.
What wasn't entirely clear was, is the machine control contained in the unit or does it rely on anything from the skid like the Cat D3 and Cat attachments (besides power & hydraulics).
Everything is housed on the implement itself. It is all well protected behind bolted in steel plates…so theft and damage is a null issue. We do not “tie” into anything on the CTL itself other than power and hydraulic flow unlike some manufacturers. This makes our attachment and Leica machine control far less invasive and makes install times ultimately disappear
