Thank you so much...I so enjoy listening to you tell these stories. I live in the US now, but lived in England for my first 10 years, and my parents are Scottish.
I do really love Nora Corbett’s designs usually. I’m wondering if it’s the use of metallic thread in the garden that put me off a bit! Thank you for watching, Cassandra! ❤️
Indeed, the eyes have it …Thomas Boyd and Frances James Logan bear a great resemblance to each other. Anne Logan’s story becomes all the more fascinating. Couldn’t resist this colorful (in many ways) stitch, so acquired Anne, along with Amelia Ellis, and Ada Billson, and Sarah Watson, oh my! Their finished sizes on 36 count, or 40 count, are incredibly appealing also. Thanks very much for another informative and inspirational video visit. Looking forward to seeing you next time!
Thank you so much for watching, Lori! 💗 I hope you enjoy stitching the samplers. They will certainly keep you busy stitching for a while! Yes, I agree - the family resemblance is definitely there.
I enjoyed seeing some oldies. I smiled at the story of your daughter and the Mirabilia design. The history of the charts are wonderful. Good luck with lockdown, and designing, and homeschooling! I can't wait for your next flosstube!
Love you and love your videos! The new ones are just beautiful and will be on my “must stitch” list! The history with each piece is so interesting and I love that there is a probable connection to your own family history! I’m already anticipating your flosstube #3😍.
You are definitely my favorite FlossTuber. I love that your videos are short and extremely informative. You also have excellent taste and artistic ability. Can’t wait for the next one.
Just the loveliest history and stitching. I am hoping that there is a Logan connection! Wouldn’t that be marvelous. Enjoy your videos and looking forward to #3!!
I'm so happy to have heard of your videos from Brenda and Laura! Your samplers are gorgeous! I love hearing the history. Based on the pictures, it sure looks like they are related. What a fabulous discovery that will be if they are related! Thanks so much. Stay safe and happy stitching.
The beauty of the samplers is the history each represents. You have researched them expertly and have brought each stitcher from long ago into 21st century relevance. I do see a resemblance between the two gentlemen. There most definitely could be a genealogical link. This was another fascinating FlossTube video. The only issue I had was it was too short! You certainly left me wanting more. I happily look forward to your FlossTube #3. Stay well and stitch on! 🤩🤩🤩
Love your site, the name alone got me to watch. How sweet, of course being an American I love listening to you and you enrich our lives with your lovely cross stitches and the info. Keep going. Someone else on You Tube I watch for cross stitching recommended you page.

Your two reproduction samplers are beautiful! I love the research behind them! I agree that the family resemblance is there no doubt. What a wonderful find. Love your flosstubes!
Anne Logan 1840 is so pretty! I love all the color and the simplicity of the alphabets. I appreciate all your genealogy work. I have spent many hours trying to build my Mother’s Tree so that I can stitch it one day.
I have the Mother’s Tree chart too! I love it. But I’m a little torn as I have two daughters (and a son!). So do I put both of my girls’ names on the bottom of the chart? Or stitch them one each?! And then should I stitch a ‘Fathers Tree’ for my son?! 🤔
@@WhilstIrisNaps of that is such a hard decision. I only have one daughter and never considered what folks would do if they had two or more daughters...
I enjoyed your podcast. I absolutely love the stories that go with the samplers. It is wonderful that these ladies live on with the history you share with us. I have subscribed and plan to catch up on the podcasts I have missed. Thank you so much.

Hi! The samplers are gorgeous!! I love the brighter colors. Some of the reproduction samplers are in very faded colors (which are also beautiful), but I really love the brighter colors. I’m with you on the Mira you showed. I wouldn’t have stitched the house and gardens, I would have stopped with the lady and the butterflies. I do love the alphabet, tho. Such beautiful stitching!!
