This info is thanks to Mhysa on the discord! "Whenever the game spawns an ore and rolls for its quality, it will roll for legendary first -> then epic if fail -> then rare if fail -> then uncommon if fail -> spawn common if all fail. The number of ore spawns and the chance of rolling each tier increases as you kill more bosses (more precisely based on the "percentage progression"). It is pretty much 0% before the first set of boss spawns and caps out at 10%/14%/20%/20% for legendary/epic/rare/uncommon when the last set of bosses spawn. At this cap value, here are the actual chance of each type of materials from an ore: 10% legendary 12.6% epic 15.48% rare 12.384% uncommon 49.536% common There is no need to go look for the ores to break them. They do not "block" spawns (even if the whole map is covered by ores). Moreover, once you complete the map, everything on the map is broken automatically and gets picked up. In patch 0.9.031d2, the spawn rate has been changed so that you get the same total drops regardless of how long you spend on a stage/cycle. So the faster you clear a stage/cycle, the better; and going Overlord is the most efficient method." On a side note I also got super lucky with RNG and got Frozen Wasteland resources multiple times. THis is confirmed to be entirely RNG and the resources you can get each cycle will be completely random!
Hey I know this video is half a year old, is there a difference in more material stuffs obtained between Overlord and Infinite? I'm constantly running out of stuff to upgrade my character's weapons, particularly stuff like Silver and Tin.
This video has been instrumental for helping me understand crafting material farm builds. Curses, Runes, Synergies... an excellent foundation! (btw, the video title and description have typos)
this game is shaping up to really be the best on the market for survivor games. i like the new updates very much. the only problem i currently have is a very outdated wiki ;-) very curious about the next updates...if they reach this quality too than im very happy :)
I underestimated how crazy Ammo Box could get. Not only is it benefitting from cast speed and multicast, but you can increase unit quantity for even more carnage.
@@kughdommed4582 Ammunition is a buff that when you reach 2 0stakcs of it it allows the next skills cast to multicast 5 times. IF you have a lot of ammunition it guarantees skills multicasting 5 times as often as possible
nice video, trying this build out now for the heck of it. odd thought tho... can the Death Knight take the -1 dash rune (forget exact name) would seem like something Allan wouldn't allow, heh but nice if you could cheese it!
So I tried this build.. was a bit rough being so slow, checked on it and you have the first weapon at +13, which probably gets rid of the speed debuff, incase anybody else tries this and doesn't have the same results, heh
@@BrokensPlayz I was doing it as you did it and sort of was waiting for you to mention how to counteract the slowness (obvious of course) but was never brought up and so I went back and looked to see what your weapon was, heh
I did it with the weapon lvl 1 and the caracter lvl 1 😎. Idh if that change smth but I ve started with the run who give you one more spell at start instead of the one who looks like a portal and the rune that give you more chance of chain spell chance instead of the one who unlock with the monkey
Top Runes: Endless Refill - Elementalist skill tree Efficient Extraction - Arcane Weaver skill tree Material Harvest - Legionnair Skill Tree Bottom Runes: Synergetics - Complete Overlord cycle 3 Improved repotery - Necromancer skill tree War Tank - Legionnaire skill tree Battle proficiency - Monkey King Skill tree Edite: I will start doing this in the description of the videos for viewers in future
@brianatkinson3516 the most important runes for material farming are the top runes. The bottom help with damage and having a 7th skill but aren't entirely necessary
@brianatkinson3516 heavy artillery gives weakness which is pretty dope. If anything guided missile can be swapped out for something else like napalm blast for shattered

@zer0hak overlord is faster but they net around the same
Very dope update. Liking a lot. Grind is real!!
More to come in future too. Can't wait!!!

Sadly Wiki's are community driven and no one in the community is updating them as they should.
@@BrokensPlayz i never managed a wiki ever but i would absolutely contribute if i would know how :D
@Skilez afaik you just go onto the wiki and click edit 😄

Yeah it is pretty intense. I think devs need to put enemy circles above our aoe circles now
what does ammo do in the game?? 😭 *drops shrapnel bomb*
@@kughdommed4582 You mean ammunition or Ammo Box?

hello. Seems that nobody answered about eternity cycle. Yes The maps are changing
Yeah the materials are all complete rng. I double checked with dev to see if maybe starting map might show more than others but it's all complete rng

Do you think it is worth to wait for the 5th weapons and farm/safe the resources for them?
I can't say. I'm not 100% sure 5th weapons are even coming still.

@royalmarcien5010 that's awesome. The builds aren't set in stone so if you found something that worked for you that is a great thing 😀
Could you post your runes in text? Maybe how to unlock them too?

Endless Refill - Elementalist skill tree
Efficient Extraction - Arcane Weaver skill tree
Material Harvest - Legionnair Skill Tree
Bottom Runes:
Synergetics - Complete Overlord cycle 3

Do we know what the upgrade cap is? +20 +99?
There is no cap. The cap is your resources
Made the build. I had most but not all of the runes. It was silly.
Thata good!!! Glad it worked even without all the runes
