So smooth on the controls mate quick question ive just passed my 360 excavator above 10 tonnes and struggling on grading . How far out should you have your bucket when grading ? I mean should you fully extend your boom and dipper or only half way ? As I noticed alot of experienced guys like yourself don't do that just looking for some tips would really appreciate it 😊
@@martinhall5980 no I already was working for a firm so I didn't have to go through agencies but don't worry mate you will be fine I know its nerve-wracking but go slow and steady try not to worry what others are doing just focus on where you are at
I new your boss back in the 80ts vince kelly we used to drink in the new inns mosely road long closed I suspect its his son that's running it now I forget his name he bauth his first house in West heath round the corner from me we used to drink in the cavalier pub vinces brother pat used to run it. They've done well for them self's tell him pat jordan said hello 👍
Thanks for the comment Hoachin, if your UK based, a recruitment agency might be your best bet, they will usually take on someone with less experience. Do that for a good few months, after that the excavating world is your oyster..

One tip for new lads ...seat time ...go ur own speed and don't look at vids speeder up it MKS an average operator look brilliant ..u can't hear bucket crowding in bashing stick
Look at joining the British Army as a Plant Operator Mechanic, the pay is bad but you learn how to operate and maintain so many vehicles. Do that for a minimum of 4 years and you will be able to come out and basically drive anything. You will be instantly employable and with the money you saved up with Army pay you could look at going to uni or do night school to learn site management or something.
i'm just a laborer but I love learning from videos like this for when I do get seat time hahah

Why ise a GP bucket here and not a Muf or finishing bucket?

Maybe on a big firm mate try and find a small firm first to get experience (just realised 7 months ago how you getting on)
