Hello my friend. This video was a little special for me in that my father served in the Civilian Conservation Corp from 1937-1939 before enlisting in the Army. Loved this area-so beautiful. Full watch. 🌞🙂
Very cool hike, Awesome Streams, and rivers, the cave is cool as are the rock formations. The greenery is amazing. The Drive is cool how you had 2 🎤 🎙 microphones. Towards the end of the video 📹 footage and was able to edit out the outside mic 🎤 . Can't do that on my 360VR interactive camera Great share cool hike, and have a great day and a Awesome Adventurous weekend 🙋👍⛰🏞
Thanks 😊 it is a nice place 😃 My microphone record a track on each mic so both go on the camera and after there was to much noise on the outside mic. I just muted that track and added what was being recorded on the inside mic. It's pretty cool 😎
Beautiful, scenic video! I especially liked when you sat by the spring and we could just enjoy it. 💦But the bugs would drive me wild! 🦟 Lots of CCC buildings can be found in Wisconsin, too. They sure stand the test of time. 😊😊👍👍
Love these Stone Buildings, Well made and solid!♥Pretty Spring and Stream. I love my wireless GoPro Mic. I had to return it as the transmitter was not turning on after three seconds. 😩 Hoping I will have it back before our vacation. I hope you have been happy with your new toy. Have a great weekend Brian. 🙏🏼👍🏼🤗

What a beautiful park with so many old buildings. I’ve never seen them tarp fireplaces before. It must be to keep the bats and critters out. Too bad about all those pesky bugs. I can’t believe the color of the water. I love it!
What a pretty area the water was amazing. Great rock formations too. Those flies were evil looking around you. The color was beautiful indeed interesting facts. I was considering that microphone too. Interesting about the suction cups too. 👍🤠
The bugs are not being nice. They simply are not. Go photobomb their pictures! Love those rapids you're showing us. Also love the difference in color from the gray-blue to the turquoise a few feet from the rapids.
Thanks for sharing another adventure with us Brian 👍🥰 as always we loved been shown around this place 🤩 Hope this weekend has gone well for you, stay safe & take care ❤️🤩x
Stop the press Brian. Your right! We've been to Big Spring (love it and spend a week in Van Buren almost every spring) multiple times and never noticed the buildings. I was thinking that when you mentioned it! It's a beautiful trail and spring. Your video showed the color nicely. Loved it! 20 mile an hour wind sound prevention is pretty good. Don't worry about misjudging the roads and what you'll find. We do that all the time! Thanks for bringing us along with you!
It's quite fascinating, spring there and brutal snow here north of the border. Few month from now and we're on the same boat.. thanks for sharing Brian!
Thanks 😊 This park is a bit out of the way 🤪 I was actually surprised to see any one. There was quite a few people 🤪 ok a hand full 😂 not including the wedding party.
Wow, that was amazing to see the water gushing out at 6:30 and the caves! 173 tons of dissolved limestone EVERY DAY!?! What a cool place! Another great one, Brian.
Oh my gosh, Brian. Those bugs flying around you, in the beginning, were making me fan my own face. Those buildings were amazing to see. That low view was sooo relaxing with the sound of the water. WOW! The color is beautiful. Thank you for taking us along! You had amazing patience with those mosquitos. Lovely drive.
Hi 👋 Brian thank you 🙏 for sharing this great 👍 nature waterfront spring, trail, cave, and history! Perfect! Buildings looks like on Thomas Kinkade painting 🖼 Excellent content, as always a Gold content. A big hug!
Neat and peaceful place. @3:30 is a nice calm spot for boating and kayaking. I like the stone buildings too. Although the bugs are too much. Great walk and relaxation. Reminds me of our hikes in my hometown back home in Philippines where when there’s spring there’s a cave too. Happy weekend 🤙
I hate bugs too! The Ozarks are so pretty. I was there years and years and years ago! Lol we really need to make a trip back. Look like a great hike. Lynn and Danny
Wow Brian I was wanting to swat those bugs too!! CCC really helped pull the US out of the Depression. We have those all along the Blue Ridge Parkway too. My maternal grandfather worked in the CCC in West Virginia. It’s an amazing part of our history. The water color of that spring is amazing. Loved your video as usual my friend
What a beautiful place :) that spring looks gorgeous so lush and blue! Looks like a cool place... the part at 2.12 almost makes me feel like im in a war area or bunker. The lake is stunning! wow what a place and the water is so clear too... would love to visit a place like that
Really enjoyed the video. We watched right to the end. Nice looking area and was shocked to see how much water was coming out of the ground there. Interesting mic test too. Thanks for sharing this video with us Brian. Definitely a two thumbs up from us.
Sometimes the old buildings are the best part of some destinations! Also, the answer is no; you can never have enough shots of water!!! 😁 The Rode mic sounded pretty good.
Thanks 😊 the water was amazing here 👍 That Mic has really come in handy. Totally worth the money 👍 If you get one get the second gen it's better then the first gen. I have both 🤪
"We're eating regular ..." That phrase just broke my heart. We're so far removed from the great depression that I don't think we realize how bad hunger was during that time. Those old buildings are beautiful -- I'm glad to see the equipment inside, and that they're maintaining it. It's a piece of history created from a very dark time -- they're worthy of being restored & maintained. That's too bad you can't go swimming! I have visions of going down the springs in an oversized inner-tube, or a rope swing you can use to jump out in the middle -- the springs are kind of wasted without those! That is pretty wild that the water is just coming out of the ground like that -- that's crazy! The drive was really nice! Once you mentioned the elk, I started looking for it, but didn't see any! What's the brand of the suction cup you use? I have a heavy duty magnet when I put my GoPro on my car, but I'm still terrified to drive very fast with it. Good video!
Yeah I agree we've forgot all about the great depression. My grandparents lived through that and they belonged to the clean plate club. I use some off brand suction cup mount with three suction cups and I also tether it to the car somewhere. I also mount to my windshield so I can see what's going on. I've had it up to 50 mph with no problem but would never take it on the Highway. I'm not to found of the GoPro Suction cup, it's failed me many times. I've heard some bad things about magnet mounts a UA-camr I know broke there camera with one of those.
What a beautiful place. Love the moss growing on the roof. The spring has some amazing colors in it. What! No cave exploration today. 😂. Elk can be very elusive. We ran across a herd in Montana. Love the sounds they make. Always good to hear other peoples mounting set ups.
Great trip to the big spring , love the clarity of the water and all the different colors. That was a lot of water, and the rode mic seemed pretty goo. We are looking at upgrading to a wireless mic as well !
Of all the things I've seen i haven't seen a actual spring yet! That looked really neat! I really want to go out that way this year! So much cool stuff! Nice new mic! I'm getting a cheap one for my osmo action and I picked up a gimbal so we'll see how that works when it gets here!
Cool 😎 I totally recommend those mic's it's my Second one and the first still works 👍 a great backup. The second one is much better for the wind. Springs are pretty amazing 😃 I'm working my way through all the Missouri one's 👍
Amazing how 280 million gallons per day just flows out of the ground 🤯 It you find those Elk during the rut (mating season).they are very vocal and active. We go visit the Elk Herd in Pennsylvania every year, during that time, and it’s really an experience. 👍
Wow 🤩 that sounds pretty cool 😎 I wonder were that herd is. I haven't seen wild elk in Missouri are even black bears. I found out last year we actually have both in Missouri how cool 😎
such a beautiful place and nice trip! i really enjoyed the video:) thank you for sharing it's a pleasure to meet your channel and here new +1 my friend !

Looks like where Jason would hang out, Look out Brian! But really, all jokes aside, looks like a nice area!
You've got to watch your back down here 🤪😂 just kidding 😃 Thanks 😃
It's always nice to see the projects of the CCC withstanding the test of time. 🌱🛡️🌱
Millions of gallons carrying tons daily, incredible. 💯

Yeah they are pretty cool to see 😃
this is really nice, feels like it brings you back in time
