Reminds me of the promises of the 12 steps 🙏
If we are painstaking about this phase of our development, we will be amazed before we are halfway through. We are going to know a new freedom and a new happiness. We will not regret the past nor wish to shut the door on it. We will comprehend the word serenity and we will know peace. No matter how far down the scale we have gone, we will see how our experience can benefit others. That feeling of uselessness and self-pity will disappear. We will lose interest in selfish things and gain interest in our fellows. Self-seeking will slip away. Our whole attitude and outlook upon life will change. Fear of people and of economic insecurity will leave us. We will intuitively know how to handle situations which used to baffle us. We will suddenly realize that God is doing for us what we could not do for ourselves.

Hey Ryan, I have one question, during Kriya Pranayama breaths, when I move the energy through the chakras, should I concentrate in the spine, on the chakra point itself, or it's posterior ksetram (on the skin on my back, where the chakra is supposed to be). The author that I follow didn't explicitly say that, but I intuit that I have to concentrate inside the spine, on the chakra itself, not its posterior ksetram. Thanks in advance 🙏🏻

    Dear Mr. Kurczak,
I have been struggling with which spiritual path to follow since a very long time. I have some questions about Kriya Yoga as mentioned in Paramhansa Yogananda's 'Autobiography of a Yogi'. I really hope you will find the time to reply to them as I'm really eager to know their answers.... So here goes:
. Could you direct me to (give me the email address/es of) some scholars of religion or philosophy or theology who accept and follow the Kriya Yoga path....? Only if they are willing to converse with me....
. Can one disagree with Sri Yukteswara's explanation of the Biblical story of the Fall of Man as expressed in 'Autobiography of a Yogi'? . Can one be a Vishishtadvaitin or a Dvaitin by belonging to Paramhansa Yogananda's tradition?
. Can one disagree with Yogananda ji's interpretation of the Bhagavad Gita and the Mahabharata?
. Once part of the Yogananda tradition, does one have to conform to each and everything the masters have said or can one form one's own independent opinion too?
. Is it wrong to ask in the SRF tradition why Christ never mentions--in most or perhaps all the mainstream literaure on and about him--being acquainted with Mahavatara Babaji, Krishna etc.... as is mentioned in the Autobiography?
. Can one eat non-vegetarian food and still be part of Yogananda's tradition?
. Can one disagree with Yogananda's interpretation of Manu's laws and the caste system and still be part of Yogananda's tradition?
. And lastly, if I disagree with or want to question so many things Paramhansa Yogananda said (though I am in sheer awe of the man for the kind of spiritually advanced life he led), then I might as well one day end up questioning the method of Kriya Yoga itself.... Is even that allowed in the Paramhansa Yoga tradition?
.Sorry for troubling you with so many questions Mr. Kurczak....Do reply whenever you're free....
    Warmly,
    Rishabh

When you feel inspired to follow a teacher or tradition you will know when it is right for you and these doubts will not be a problem.

You notice the impulsion by which another persion is talking or doing anything. Liking and disliking fades away. You notice the things as they are as Sadhguru used to say.
