Amazing , I’ve had this pedal for a while and as my bands set grows it got really annoying having to switch presets constantly since I only use the gt for effects getting extra footswitches would be the perfect solution
I think you could also use the fender switch, or others that are latch: Set the function to momentary, so it will use the switches mechanical lock to keep the change. It won't work with tap tempo and such tho...

I was ready to buy and f s7 footswitch, mainly to control the looper. Is it possible to program the fs3x to control looper. Also the 3rd switch in fs3x can be used independently for other xc commands and not merging 1st and 2nd switch?

You don’t have to use the computer but I find it easier to set up that way. Without the computer you just have to set it up via the menu settings on the GT-1.
For the GT-1 are the foot switch assigns made globally or per patch? I also have an FS3X laying around pretty cool that the third switch combined them. Did you need to do any special setup for that or just surprised when it happened?
From left to right, the first two foot switches on the GT-1 are for navigating up or down the patches. The third foot switch (CTL1) can be programmed differently on each patch. In regards to FS3X, I had to program the GT-1 as to what CTL2 & 3 would do when enabled or disabled but as for the third switch nothing special had to be enabled or configured. It just worked....surprise!
@@Tone-Quest Ah at 3:23 it has an overlay with ctl2 ctl3 and ctl2&3 on the pedal that’s what I was looking for but watching you playing it live it’s the same as mine , I’d like to have it like it is at 3:23 but I think that’s done on a computer, Thanks
@@keithorourke30 You are correct, I just did that at 3:23 to help demonstrate what the button functions are, but I guess you could print something similar out on the printer and tape it to the foot switch.

I bought the Hotone Ampero switch, super tiny, two buttons and $20. Works great as Ctrl 2 and Ctrl 3

I think it is easy the press the buttons with my foot. They are far enough apart that it isn’t an issue.
