      @@nurinasnabtshahidi1123 Good to try past year earlier so that u will be familiar with the questions. I would suggest u to polish on Chapter Heat, Optic Light & Waves first.

    Teacher , for use of gm tube in the roller stuff , can i say `it is connected to rate meter and thus can provide accurate number of counts so that the system can identified whehter the paper is too thick or not ` ?

      Can, but make sure write:
      "GM Tube can detect all the radiation easily." Then can lengthen your answer with that ok. Safer.

      @@myfunphysicsworld9231 cause for me ,it seems didnt relate to whether the detector have to able detect all radiation cause we know that it is beta particle. We just have to know whehter the beta particle count is too many or not. But nvm, i will still add on it in exam .👍🏼🤙🏻

    Teacher, may i ask? If the question didnt mention which type of metal to be detected (eg aluminium etc) ,We shud use beta or gamma to detect their thickness

      It depends on the thickness of the metal. Few mm, use beta.
      Example:
      If Aluminium FOIL, can use beta.
      If Aluminium SHEET, use gamma.

    In essay question, can i say use GM-tube so the amount of radiation can be counted ?

      GM Tube - can detect radiation easily
      GM Tube can be connected to rate meter (counter) to record the activity
