In this episode, we are honored to have Dr. Ben White, MD - a practicing neuroradiologist at in Dallas Texas, and an Associate Program Director at Baylor University Medical Center. Ben obtained his Medical Degree from the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio before completing a radiology residency and neuroradiology fellowship at UT Southwestern. Just as importantly, he has run a blog for the 15 years aptly titled “Benwhite.com” in which he shares his thoughts on medicine, medical training, and radiology.
Ben’s blog is a key resource for thousands of medical students as they navigate approaching step exams and is now a key resource that we use as current radiology residents - and honestly an inspiration for us to start our own podcast!
In this episode, Ben discusses his advice for newly trained radiologists as they transition to attendinghood, the impact of private equity in radiology, and the future of radiology education.
