What a scene! @6:46 Womack & Womack's "Teardrops" in the mix is pure class.

@javajunkie101 Decadent & lush indeed. Actually I was researching the music side & came across this. Galliano's view & moulding of the French Libertine is fascinating. I don't think we'll ever see extravagance like this again. Dior's heading a mundane direction now that Galliano is gone. I'm aware there's Lagerfeld but in terms of bravado & folie John was truly the last of the mohicans.

@javajunkie101 Reports here at the time of the scandal revealed Galliano had been in a very bad place since the death of his creative partner & best friend(sorry I can't remember his name & may he r.i.p) and that he had been neglecting his work. The atelier did most of the collections with or without him. Dior execs knew he was depressed but no one took the initiative to reach out to him or even shake him to his senses. What's also sad is that the whole situation could have been avoided. Sad..

John's right hand, Steven Robinson was his name. He passed away in april 2007. I've never met a more powerful, dedicated, passionate, brilliant "first creative design assistant" than Steven.

The fur is obviously repulsive but the mood, atmosphere and the girls....my god what a fantasy what a dream SUCH ROMANCE

LaV C Fur is not repulsive. Its a symbol of elegance, warmth and luxury, if you take away fur farms then, what about the people who work there? They have no jobs, no money and won’t be able to feed they’re family. THINK about the other people! Even Karl Lagerfeld is right about that

@@adz500 Maybe it was a symbol of elegance, warmth and luxury in the 1930s. It is repulsive nowadays.

    Delightful corruption of the senses
Don't dwell on the furs, it helps :)
