These were the days man.....
i never saw this show, but i simply remembered it because of Linda Evangelista wearing that yellow dress...she stole the show. i grew up watching these women and they are the reason i fell in love with fashion. all the greats walked in this show...Naomi, Kate, Carla, Kristen, Nadja, Helena and the list goes on. i miss these women dearly.
Linda's yellow dress is quite something.
This show was a tour de force. Incredible- what high fashion & theatre is. All of the big girls of the day were in this show, and some under the radar runway girls like patricia velazquez as well.
There are moments in fashion when you just now it is something special that people will talk about years and years after - this show exactly that - it is a legend indeed. Even now, watching this video you feel the energy in that room and it is so emotional you almost want to cry from excitement.
For the I guys out there looking for pics of this show they're is some Harper's bazzare and also W fashion magazine .
The Harper bazzare had Linda evangelista on the cover in the same yellow gown she wore in show..

.... the finale was not about Naomi Campbell the camera was all about KrisTen mcmenamy.. She. Walked out holding hands with Kate moss and then flirted with lots of others and stole the show at the end... I do loVe Naomi she was and is amazing but it was Kristen at the end.... noTe Naomi and Kristen were and still are best of friends..
