These Roasts were so amazing to watch during the 1970's.. I watched them eagerly awaiting for the moment where Dean Martin calls out for Foster Brooks or whatever character he was play8ng that night. His drunken comedy skits were AMAZING to view and witness. Just watching Foster walk to the podium would have me cracking up before he even said a single word... watching him fall at the podium was even better. He could really perform 🎭 his drunken character so well that if you were not a fan of his you would really think he was some drunk guy speaking on that stage lol ha ha ha 😆 Foster was one of a kind and kept me laughing my entire childhood.. God bless Foster Brooks 🙏🏼 ❤️

His character is a drunk who is trying to fool everybody (unsuccessfully) into believing he is sober. Is the most original concept for a drunk ever, and therefore the funniest one. Thanks Mr Foster Brooks, you were a pioneer, God bless you !!!

Not to mention the Comedy Central roasts make countless penis and vagina references. Like that's really funny. The Dean Martin Roasts had legends of the industry who knew how to make people laugh without being vulgar. The CC Roasts feature losers and no-name people like Lisa Lampanelli, Jeff Ross, and Greg Giraldo. None of those 3 could shine the shoes of Dean Martin, Don Rickles, Foster Brooks, Milton Berle, Rich Little, Red Buttons, and the others.

Besides the great comedy of Foster Brooks I've noticed several other consistencies...
    1) He can tell his jokes and keep a straight face unlike most comedians (past and present) who often also laugh while telling their own jokes
    2) He pretty much "goes-on" last [and for good reason - tough act to follow]
    3) The audience is already laughing before he even makes it to the podium
    4) All of these vlogs featuring him has had well over 1Mil hits EACH !!!
