Thank you so much for all your patterns you have kept me busy after the loss of my husband and my heart goes out to for the migraine I suffer as well and stress brings them on and with your move I’m not surprised. Take care.
Thank you, and I’m sorry for your loss. Keep safe. Enjoy your knitting as much as you can. A big hug 🥰
Thank you
I thought this one would be more complicated, I can't believe it's this easy, thank you very much.
I know, this is why I shared it! Thank you and happy knitting 🤗

This is so pretty. Sorry to hear about your migraine. Take it slowly and relax. Fond wishes to all from sunny Cape Town
Will do! Thank you so much Annette. Enjoy your knitting 🥰
Im so sorry to hear you've had a migraine. Those headaches are just horrible to go through. My little sister used to get them after chiropractic adjustmnts and all that would help was a rolled up towel under her neck while she lay down in a dark room.
I wish you a speedy migrane rebound and a long beautiful restpit from your moving experience. 😊
Thank you so much for another wonderful stitch pattern.
💜✌️🧶
Thank you so much! I’m feeling much better 😊 Happy knitting 🧶
Love this pattern, Thank you for sharing and showing how easy it is to do.

I'm making a blanket using this pattern now, thanks to your guidance! Thank you!
Thank you! I hope to see some pics 😉
Lovely pattern,, thank you..
2 questions: When you change colors, are you cutting off and re-joing them each time? If not, can you show how to do that elegantly?
Does the pattern automatically give you the pretty scalloped edge?
Thanks! Yes, I’d cut off the yarn and weave in ends later, like I did for this blanket: ua-cam.com/video/J520eXgrU3I/v-deo.htmlsi=dFORuXxyZIQJzWIt
There’s a way to weave in ends as you go (this is something I’d like to post, it’s on my list).
And yes, the pattern gives you the scalloped edge at the bottom automatically 😉
This is a lovely pattern, thank you.
My pleasure! Thank you for your comment 🤗
Best wishes in your new home!

Thank you , am challenged with how to increase pattern width enlargement for a lap blanket, and an extra edge my attempt isn’t working :/
Question: how to increase the stitch count for a larger garter edge and increase stitches for larger width lap blanket - this great pattern and tutorial video is challenging my math skills :/ thank you for sharing your passion:)
I love this. I'm gonig to have to decide what I want to use it for. I think a shawl.
Good idea 👍🏼
Having problems with putting it on for a blanket stiiches add up
Hope you are feeling better this week
I am, thank you 😊
Thank you for explaining & sharing this beautiful pattern. Your channel just popped up. I have now Subscribed & liked 🎉. Regards. Rose
Thank you! Welcome to our community, and enjoy your knitting❣️❣️❣️
Please make a, cardigan with the pattern pretty please
I want to use this pattern for a blanket. Can I switch the YO for KFB?
You can, but then you’d remove the little holes, plus you’d be modifying the pattern. In row 1 instead of yo, K4, you should kfb, K3. And then, instead of K4, yo, you should K3, kfb.
Love this stitch! Will do a 2 color baby blanket. I looked same tutorial in Spanish, couldn’t find it.
Question: how to do a border “tipo cadena”. Don’t like the “bumps” you get when it’s all knit
Gracias mil!
Thank you! Well, that’s easy: Slip the first stitch as if to purl, and knit the last one. Happy knitting 🤗
Thanks for this. Is there any way to do it without the holes?
Coming soon 😉
👍👍
Hi, how did you get the 1st 4 rows to be garter stitch? with the dips? is there a way that you knit it specifically?
Hi, I just knitted 4 rows in Garter stitch, and then, after some rows of the Chevron stitch, the picks will formed automatically (because of the knit 2 together). You don’t have to do anything special 😉
Looking in making a throw with this pattern, what would be to cast on stiches with the 4 garter stich on each side
I have a tutorial that shows what I do to know how many stitches to cast on, yarn needed, and measurements for square/rectangular projects: sowoolly.net/the-essential-guide-to-stitches-yarn-and-measurements-for-your-knitting-crocheting-projects/
Look after yourself, we need you! By the way, how many bees did you put in the Bourguignon? 😂😂
😂😂😂 Oh! None! Just beeffff, mushrooms, pickled onions, carrots, and red wine. Happy knitting 🧶
On 2nd row do you pearl the 2tog knit stich ?
The second row is a purl row, just purl every stitch. However, if you added the 4 st at the beginning and at the end for the border, then knit those 8 on every row.
Lovely pattern. How would you knit a Cardigan using this pattern
Thank you, I don’t know, I haven’t thought about it (when I look at this pattern I can’t imagine anything else but blankets). Do you have an example of what you’d like to do?
Yes I will email it to you 😊
@natalieholm7055 Ok 👍🏼
Did you get my email
@natalieholm7055 I think I did, but haven’t had time to look at it yet

@@sowoolly Thank you so so so much! And thank you for the very quick reply 🙂 this pattern is wonderful and your instructions are terrific. I can't wait to start working on this project
@reneeh4406 My pleasure! Enjoy your knitting and thanks again for your comments 🤗
I don’t understand how many to cast on. She said 13, then,26 then add 4 then add 5. What the heck?
You need to cast on multiples of 13 + 4 + 5. For example: 13 * 2 = 26 + 4 = 30 + 5 = 35.
Another example: 13 * 1 = 13 + 4 = 17 + 5 = 22.
I don't know what I did wrong but my edges ate not pointy 😢
The picks are formed automatically by the knit 2 together. Are you sure you are making them?
@@sowoolly thank you for your reply. The more I have knitted I noticed the triangle shape forming now. Thanks so much.its like magic how it appeared I'm delighted.
@trishb5738 I’m so happy to hear it! Keep practicing and be patient 😉
