I made a small wall hanging last Christmas with the small sweater template and hung it on my office space door at work. When the children go by to go to group, they stop and we play "Can you find the..."
Hi ladies!! I got the little sweater template last year in my Jenny box & was thrilled!! I made friends (& myself) mug rugs with them. When I saw the "short" video showing the larger one, I couldn't wait to order it 🥰🥰 I have so many ideas now after seeing Jenny's version!! I have lots of felt left from a quilt retreat project we did several years ago. None are as big as the snowflake template, but I think I'll get my grandkids to cut out snowflakes for me 💗💗 And Misty's tree quilt is just lovely!
I’ve thought this before so I’m asking now. Can you please do more closeups of the finished quilts? I watch on my phone and it just doesn’t feel like you’re there and seeing it unless the image is up close. Thank you so very much!
Jenny, I love the idea of storing the templates in page protectors inside a binder! Also love the sweaters you had on. UA-cam needs to add a LOVE button!
I stopped watching this video so I could go and purchase my items. I especially loved Jenny's quilt backing - I bought 12 yards, hope it was enough!! I just love Xmas. Can't wait for Jenny's Xmas Box, this is the first one I've bought.
Yes. That cheater Christmas fabric makes your quilt a beautiful reversible quilt. It will sell out fast. Make sure to get a little extra for pillowcases if it will be on your bed. I like to make quick Christmas pillowcases every year to give to people and this cheater cloth will be perfect ❗️🎄
If you have a cutting machine you can trace one onto white paper and scan then cut them using your cutting machine. Be sure to put your fusible on the fabric before cutting. I can't wait to get the templates and try these!
I ❤ all three projects! Natalie- I'm so happy you showed felt applique and that it was quilted over. Jenny-I love the idea of embellishments after quilting and Misty overlapping the trees. Misty - I picture snowflakes in the sky over your trees. So many ideas!!
I would use my Scan n cut to cut those shapes out. Just scan in the template then cut out the shape on your fabric. With the fusible already on the back of the fabric. Great ideas thanks.
All three turned out wonderful. Love how Misty's reminds me of a meadow, Jenny's is just fun, and I love that snowflake runner, I would never have thought of using felt. Thanks Ladies!!!
I have all my templates & rulers hanging on a pegboard but it’s so crowded now there’s no more room and sometimes it’s hard to find the one I want because so many are hanging on each peg. That binder is a wonderful idea, I may have to do that just to clear out space on the pegboard so I can find my specialty rulers more easily.
@@ruthhilsdorf3210 I agree 100%! I'm going to try to find sheet protectors with dividers. Hopefulky it won't be too hard to find. I do like your idea of the peg board.
Going to do Misty's tree project! Will put a tiny house cabin somewhere in there and some tiny wonky stars. Maybe use a darker background like a twighlight color. Possibilities!
I recently, purchased that notebook that Jenny uses - for my collection of templates. I’ve been using Command small wire hooks in the front of my cabinets for the usual templates so I can actually find them (I have multiples of a few because I forgot I already had one!). She just reminded me thst I need to start putting my appliqué templates into it!!! Thanks, Jenny!
All these are so cute, if you have small children I would cut out a shirt out of a solid fabric and let them embellish with fabric pens square and then embroider it with their name age and date ,
These are all so fun! Looks like I will be getting some new templates. 😄 Such easy, quick ideas. Thanks ladies for sharing your creative ideas with all of us. Take are and blessings to y'all.
I love all 3 quilts but my favorite is Jenny’s! I kept waiting to see what sweater Jenny was going to have on next 😂. All 3 look super easy and fast. Now I have to go order the sweater template
Ok girls! Now I have to do three new quilts for Christmas! All three were so wonderous! And Jenny's sweaters on and off the quilt! Fabulous! Thank you again for a great triple play!
I’m wondering that too. With lots of younger grandkids, table runners take a beating and have to be washed a lot. I’m thinking I’ll just use white fabric or maybe a Christmas themed tone on tone. Would be easy to embroider some extra touches on the snowflakes too. I have lots of Christmas fabric pieces left over from previous projects, will have to see what I can do with those.
Love love love all three I have most of the templates going to get the rest I don't have I like tracing with the templates and cutting it out with my scan n cut so easy and the scan n cut cuts perfect thanks so much for the ideas love all three of them
Loved the sweater changes on Jenny, but we're going through a heat wave here, so I just got hotter and hotter watching her. 😅 Loved the tutorials, looking forward to using my templates.
I love that Jenny kept changing her sweaters
Just saw the reindeer one! I need that!!!
I am so happy someone noticed!! Haha
@jennydoan57 can you please share where and or how to get the downloadble templates that were talked about in the video.
I love that Jennie kept changing sweaters.
I admit that I’m addicted to these templates - and what a great idea to put a smaller version inside the big one so we actually get two!
Love seeing all the different sweaters that Jenny is wearing. Such great quilts and runner. Well done everyone!
You should do a Triple Play on panels. How cool would it be if you all used the same panel, and each did something different with it?
What an adorable quilt for that December baby or just birthday child. Even that gift for a nursing home or" in care ", person.
Jenny’s quilt reminds me of doing paper dolls when I was a little girl
Jenny's sweater quilt would be a great I Spy Christmas quilt! Thanks ladies ❤

So did I! I made teacher’s gifts for my son’s teachers- coasters, treats and a reusable Starbucks hot/cold cup.
I’ve thought this before so

I went over to the website to order my template as soon as I read your post, before they ran out! 😂

Great idea!!
All three turned out wonderful. Love how Misty's reminds me of a meadow, Jenny's is just fun, and I love that snowflake runner, I would never have thought of using felt. Thanks Ladies!!!
The tree one could also be a fall theme or winter one with white trees and frosty blue trees
I've never thought of using felt in a quilt! What an awesome tutorial!
They are all so darling..love Natalies snowflake runner. Jenny the sweaters are beyond cute & Misty yours is so cute & quick to make.

Love Jenny's pull over.❤
Loved the tutorial... and Jenny changing her ugly sweater between each segment was cute.. "Happy Holiday" 😉😉
Going to do Misty's tree project! Will put a tiny house cabin somewhere in there and some tiny wonky stars. Maybe use a darker background like a twighlight color. Possibilities!
What great ideas! I just love everything Missouri Star shows us! What great ideas! Thanks ladies!
Misty, you knocked your quilt out of the park.!!
Great for a quick, easy and very effective quilt, table topper, bed runner or cushion.
I just skipped the whole video to see the sweater changes! I think I am going to look for the Nutcracker for Christmas with family this year!
All three are great. I especially like Misty's - very understated, and it looks like a landscape.
Christmas in July! Great job ladies😊

With the use of the felt …how is it to wash / launder ? Amazing ideas thank you ❤

Would be easy to embroider some extra touches on the snowflakes too. I have lots of Christmas fabric pieces left over from previous projects, will have to see what I can do with those.
That’s what I’m wondering.
I came here to ask the same about the felt.
You can totally wash felt! I would suggest using a cold and gentle cycle though!
How fun to learn there was a Chuck button included in the jar from a couple years ago! 😂😂
Thanks, friends❤
