Man, I can’t say thank you enough for the content you put out!!! Watching this video, I hit my first roll shot within the 4th down and back. It felt great to be able to achieve this!
One thing I found to be interesting when I was learning to roll...The higher I threw the more my bag 'flops', the harder and more direct I threw the more my bag 'rolls'. For example, in this video case where you have two level one blockers side to side, a higher toss to flop over the level one would work best for me. If they are back blocked and down to a level two or three as an example a harder more direct bag will roll over the whole thing. Something to keep in mind to try for anyone trying to learn.
One of my friends pretty much rolls every shot, and has foun a way to for it work. He rolls over pretty much everything. With wizards. He's been trying to teach me, but i have a problem with the nose down bc of my wrist and my regule throw. I think thats the only thing stopping me. For my roll i change from a 50/50 to the butterfly. One thing that worked for me was to try an emphasis the bad flight. I tried to make my get under the bag enough to try and make it land on the fast side, and it started working. I've been practicing for like a week, and its going good. Great video the going into it reall does help peopl get it. A part 2 on maybe what you're thinking or the mental side would help a lot of people, bc it really is a completely different shot/style, but thank you for the video Keep producing great stuff man!!
Had to come back and watch this one again bud! Still haven't been able to get any sort of roll or cut bag going. It really messed with my throwing straight bags and can't seem to get right with those either now. Figured a lil more tutorial might help work on this again. Great video still Corbin, thanks
Great video and love the idea of changing your grip as a mechanism to key your brain it’s a different shot. What other bags do you recommend that roll easy for a new “roller”. Can you roll a Costello X or any other mainstream bag companies bags?
Most carpet you can roll yes. The stickier the better. Kombat, pro advantage, Viking, sure shot raid, Costello x, OG2…the list goes on and on. Fill just plays a huge role so be aware of that
@@CorbinsCornholeReviewsUpdate: after months of messing around with it on and off, I’m finally seeing some success with back loading and rolling/deep cutting. Thanks again for the video Corbin, you’re the man!
Okay one thing is driving me crazy about his comments on bag selection. "If I am in a roll game the Kilos are what I am going to grab" You don't know what type of game you are going to be in until you're in it? I hear similar talk from tons of bag nerds about this type of bag for this type of game etc... It doesn't make any sense. Its not like you can change bags mid game. It seems like you want to pick a bag that best suits your throwing style and hope for the best in the other situations. Am I missing something? Why do people have and throw so many different bags? Besides just that they want to collect them.
Them young boys will throw a roll bag in a heartbeat. I just be in awe LoL

Corbin coming though yet again!! Just tried this using the ideas you gave specifically the cocked wrist and bam, rolling them in. Thanks man!!

Great point! Thank you

Brilliant idea to change the grip for this throw only. I like the logic behind why you did it.
Just works for my brain. Physical change means different bag action
I love that he is either watering the weeds or downing ants in the beginning! LOL
That’s my boy! Haha
Good stuff, thanks for sharing
Hard to do while talking and instructing at the same time. Great video.
This is a nice video Corbin. I don’t remember seeing anyone showing the throw/roll from the side.
I been throwing them correct for weeks without rolling. But i learn from the comments is, you have to throw higher it to get it to roll

In your honest opinion what should a beginner practice more? Airmail or roll?
Love the content bro! I had a question on your patreon’s. How often do you bag giveaways?
Hey Corbin, looking at getting either the Pro X or Pro Advantage from Reynolds. Which one would be better for rolling? Appreciate your reviews, thanks
Both will work. The Pro X has a faster fast side so it won't clog the hole as often.
the best tip ive got for a roll bag is opening a door nob as your releasing (with the butterfly grip)
ULTRA MOJO are a really good roll bag.
When you backload it it spins how to you make sure it lands correctly?
I can get the grip, I can get the bag to tilt left side up. I just can’t figure how to backload the bag🤦🏻♂️
You can get it to work that way as well. Tinker with it

bags look like they're coming in flat and spinning... exactly like a slide shot. How is this different??
can you do a review on the titan talons???
